No longer available, thanks guys. Hi guys, Because I no longer have my own transport I very rarely get to use my own amp at gigs anymore. I am also going to China for a 4 month gig at the end of February and I wont be taking my own amp with me so I figure I might aswell sell up and get a something else ( I'm thinking an Ampeg mini VR stack if you have one to trade). Here are the pictures... I sounds fantastic, is really loud and is super ligthtweight, I can get home from a gig and carry it up two flights of stairs with one arm. At gigs I play Reggae, Latin, Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz and the amp sounds great for everything even my double bass. Im happy to ship the amp but would would prefer local pick up. I am based in Teesside. Im looking for offers in the region of 600 pound. Any questions then please get in touch. Thanks Kev Heres the spec... Heartbreaker, I know what you mean, I do love the look of a bound and blocked rosewood board. Big fan of maple too, I really like the contrast between the body and fingerboard. Hi Joona, I would be happy to ship to Finland, I have shipped a bass to Europe in the past and not had any problems. The shipping did cost about £50 though. Thanks guys. Kev -

Hi guys, I'm thinking of selling one of my basses because I'm going to China in the new year for a 4 month hotel contract and I'm wanting to get a custom build bass made (by our own Wes) to take with me. The bass is fantastic to play and I love the awesome precision tone. I have used it with Labella flats for a great Jamerson type sound and with Roundwounds it nails that classic Foxton/Simonon/Thomas P tone. The neck is from a US Jazz bass that I bought in 2005 and the body is from a US Vintage Reissue 62 Precision I bought last year on here. I loved the sound of the P but after a month I still wasnt getting on with the wider neck, so I swapped the neck of my favourite Jazz and this Franken-Fender was born. The bass is fantastic to play, the neck feels great and the truss rod works perfectlly. The bass will come with a vintage reissue fender hardcase (that came with the precision) plus the pick up and bridge covers. The pictures are in a thread I made over in the porn section... just click Here I'd be looking for offers in the region of 700 for the bass. Any questions then please dont hesitate to get in touch. Thanks Kev

Hi guys, I bought these monitors and stands new a couple of years a go when I was at uni. The Yamaha HS80m's are based on the classic NS10's but are active and have an 8" driver. They sound great and I have done many mixes on them and they have never let me down when it comes to listening back to your mixes on different systems. The monitors are in mint condition. They are basically immaculate and the drivers working perfectly. They have been very well looked after but since I have started working in a Studio I no longer record/mix at home so they are no longer getting the use they deserve. Check out the info and specs on the Yamaha site here... Click me The stands are sturdy, solid and great professional quality. Some lot of my friends use other cheaper stands which are flimsy in comparison and wobble really easily, which quite easily leave your expensive monitor in bits on the floor. The stands like the monitors have been very well looked after. Read more about the stands here... Click me I'd prefer to sell the items together and will offer discount if you want to buy them both. I'm happy to post at the buyers expense but if you would like to come and check out/pick up the speaker and stands you're more than welcome to come to my home in Teesside. For the speakers and stands you would pay £490 new and mine are basically new condition I would like £350 for them. Individually I'd be looking for £300 for the monitors and £80 for the stands. I have not added pictures as the items are in new condition. If you would like me to take pictures then I am more than happy to do so. Thanks for looking. Kev

I play in a reggae band and Im a big fan of the jazz bass sound. Also I once used some rotosound black nylon strings. They sounded great for reggae/dub and were low tension so really easy to play. The only reason I got rid of them was because they weren't versatile enough. So if he was only playing dub then they would definately be worth a try. Imsurrently using labella flatwounds though, just because they also work well when playing a range of styles. Kev

Hi guys, I know this isnt a for sale thread but I wanted to say something and thought this was the best place to do it. I have two very nice basses which will cover just about any style I want to play and I still I check this Basses for section several times a day. Infact if I spent as much time practising as I do thinking about buying new basses I'd be alot better than I already am. I can help myself though. Does anyone have the same problem? Kev
