1. Versuchs mal auf Englisch, mein Gutster...
2. No, it´s all original. I found some strange Fender diagram mentioning Glazier points ??
3. My thumbs always tickeld my ankles, even hung high... a good strap fixed that, but it still hung to far to the left for my taste... so off it went.
4. It´s cheaper and a lot safer...
5. ... beautiful. Too bad about the badass, though.
6.
Yes, they have a secondhand lefty in stock as we speak, all black with black pickguard and rosewood fingerboard. Very pretty. But they ask 90,000 Yen + 16,000 Yen shipping costs. That's only 13,000 Yen below buying a brand new one from guitarshogun.com, including shipping. It's not worth that to me, I'd go for the new one for a slight bit more.
Right yer are...
7. I am in dire need of a wiring diagram for my 78 Jazz Bass. It is completely different from a standard Jazz wiring, the grounding is different. Any help, please...
8. +1 !! The mighty mites fit better, warmoth, too.
9. My fav at the moment weighs 5,4 kg, that´s about 250 brit pounds , but I don´t care. I can gig 3 hours no problem.. it´s well balanced and my shoulders are trained enough.
10. Buy at ishibashi´s u-box and smile all the way....I just did. Took 3 days. Perfect.
11. Sizes What´s not to find ??? Just a bit lazy, maybe.. It´ll fit.
12. ... even do your dishes, mate..
13. I´d keep the strings and throw everything else away... Just kiddin´. Pimp the hell outta it.
14. ... must have had a difficult childhood, mate... Everything used to be cheap as chips.. and the Euro came along. This is no debate about 70s or 80s or whatever... every decade has it´s good and bad. You´ll find crappy 80s 7enders. Noadays the quality is sooooo nausiating, that you have to spent hours picking out one good one outta the bunch.. anf then it´s usually CIJ... I´m happy with the bursty 78 up top. Neckpocket A1, frets cool, etc... weighs a ton, but I like it that way. That´s all...
15. It´s def. nitro laquer and it´s a 78 in cherryburst... no 80s. Serial number says April 1978. So the cherry burst 2 years early.
16. Shipping´s no prob...
17. 1978 Jazz in cherryburst. All original. Straight A neck, frets good, nitro laquer has some wear, few ding-dongs. F***ing amazing tone. Thanx for any help.
18. I wouldn´t even hang a towel on anything MDF... but then again I work with the crap everyday and know that it holds no decent screw... good luck.
19. The string spacing between A and D is completley off. That´s another shoddy setup by the guys at 7ucker... soundwise it won´t maker much of a diff. but playing with that string spacing would bug the hell outta me.
20. :brow: :brow:
21. played the M.Anthony modell with the chili pepper inlays... absolutely stunning. Any idea how much you´ll be wanting fer it ??
22. Thursday evening bumb..
23. Why is the neck pu so close to the fretboeard ?? I asked Rob this, and never got an answer. Is it possible to slap and pop properly on it ??? it´s such a beauty, though.
