The main advantages of this model are surely the exotic woods, the electronics and of course the build quality. This particular model is claimed to be the best bass that Ibanez ever built (I think I read that on Talkbass somewhere), but of course that is highly subjective until you know every other model they have ever built All I can say is that if you are looking for a very high-quality six stringer that does not kill your back and/or hands (hey, it weighs less than most of the four stringers I've ever played without being the least neck-heavy), whose woods flatter your touch and - of course - if you are into that particular Soundgear sound (with added warmth and character from the wood combinations), then this is the instrument to look at.[/font] [font=georgia,serif](Sorry if this sounds like an ad blurb )[/font][font=georgia, serif] [/font]
