6. Might be the recording.
7. I rate Me'Shell as one of the best groove bass players ever. Apologies if this clip has been on before, but this showcases her writing talent and David Dyson's sublime playing and sound. Unbelievable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nzo80E8-ic
8. It's not going to be every Basschatter's cup of tea, Mike, but amazing stuff, nontheless.
9. I have one of these at home. Undoubtedly the most versatile practice amp available anywhere. Good luck with the sale.
10. Bad drummer's mantra: I sit at the back. No one cares about me. I have lots of expensive drums and cymbals. I must hit them all, regardless of the song. Good drummer's mantra: I must do my job and keep the groove. My job is to make the songs sound good.
11. Nice post. Very interesting.

14.
Hi, I was out of town for a few days sorry for leaving you hanging. I used jacks.
My mate had problems with a MB speaker cab. Turns out there was a minor problem with the speaker jack. Might be worth trying speakons.

16. Bill Clements. Awesome! How many of us would just give up completely?
17.
Sounds really good Pete, is that Bryan? I see Tim on tenor... lovely player and a gent, he has a perfect sound for this gig!
Hi Jake. I can't remember who was drumming. Tim has been great for the band...runs the brass section.
18.
Fantastic Pete! Really enjoyed that. Awesome bass playing dude - right in the pocket! You and the drummer are right on it. Your singer does a great job too - Fagen has such a unique voice that covers never seem to sound right! I like the twist he puts on it. Brass section did a fantastic job too. Great job all round mate!
Thanks, mate. Our singer has a great voice, but doesn't try to emulate Fagen. Bass-wise, you just have to keep that song tight.
19. Recorded by someone in the audience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi5IO5TmxvE&feature=fvst
20. Are you using jacks or speakons?
21. Just tried the 550 model. I seriously think Ashdown have a winner here. Well worth trying it out.
22. The Spyder/Touring amps are really good. The preamp is different from the ABM one, and seems to have extra midrange punch. I would recommend trying one, as I'm pretty sure you'll get the sound you're looking for.
23.
Don't forget Tower Of Power,,,,,, Garry
Yep.
24. EWF are the foremost example of how great soul/funk music is. They changed everything. As far as I know, there is only Jamiroquai and Beyonce that take a large band on tour to recreate that sound. I may be wrong, though. Correct me? EWF are without doubt the greatest ever.
