The other thing to remember when ordering from the US is that any warranty offered with the gear may not be valid in this country.

Allow for 25% of the cost of the item + shipping & you'll cover it. For example, something that costs £925.00 + £75.00 shipping would end up costing you around £1250.00 when VAT & Import duties are added. You'll also probably need to pay a handling fee of some sort depending on the courier.

I've been told many times when enquiring about joining bands "Sorry, you're too old" (once I actually had somebody laugh when I told them my age). It's really disheartening, to the extent that I've just given up looking. The only bands that seem to be looking for people of my age are all bloody blues bands & covers/function stuff, and I'd rather eat a skip full of dog poo than do that.

[/quote] A lot of older people (i.e. pensionable age) still care very much about the Queen, and as a Jubilee Celebration party is likely to have older people in attendance then I think, personally, that to play that song at an event where the sole purpose is to celebrate the monarchy would be disrespectful to them.

Sounds like a pretty childish idea to me, and guaranteed to offend & upset people if you're playing a street party to celebrate the Queens jubilee that will have people from all generations attending.

That's a fantastic shape - I love the Klein stuff. It's obviously used the Ovation Breadwinner/Deacon shape as a reference but has been tweaked enough to be different. I look forward to seeing that when it's finished.
