1. They look like 1970s vintage:- http://www.bygonetones.com/pre-rola-explained.html
2. All good! Yolanda is great. I have seen the plan for the MSL stand. They will have a bit of everything Markbass, including a Multiamp and hopefully the new and amazing little Nano 300 (though they are currently selling to dealers as quickly as Markbass can make them, so getting one in time might be a problem!), which I can see quickly becoming a best seller! For your guitarist chums there will also be a good selection of DV Mark including the guitar Multiamp, and for those who missed out at the LBGS, there will again be some special show pricing on lots of kit!
3.
Not a problem at all You can change this in system settings so that volume stays the same when switching patches. The more time I spend with this amp the more I'm impressed with it as an all in one solution that's as Simple or complex as I want it to be.
What he said! I've been a bit preoccupied with a pickup issue on my JO5 (turns out the neck pickup had died. In 39 years of playing I have never experienced this! Lakland have been absolutely brilliant in getting me working. I can't say the same for the US Postal service!) to get around to playing some more. I am hoping to spend some time today trying to get the MIDI setup the way i want it, then I'll post an update on my thoughts!
4.
Awesome... I found that the comp icon flashes on when the gain and master output gets turned up fairly high.
Mine's not doing that! When you say the "icon", presumably you mean the "CMP" text in the slot box? I've tried this with both the Compressore and the RSS Compressor and nothing is happening!
5. Oh, and there will be a patch sharing site soon...!
6. The MIDI updates are really excellent, particularly as I use a Softstep, the new effects are a bit "meh" if you ask me. I have loaded the new compressor and nothing happens on the display when active... I'll report back more later!
7. I was speaking to MSL earlier, and there are going to be some cracking deals on Markbass and DV Mark (tell your guitarist friends!) at the show. No specific details yet, but definitely worth a visit if you're gassing!
8. Anyone in the Devon area, I was speaking to MSL earlier, and there are going to be some cracking deals on Markbass and DV Mark (tell your guitarist friends!) at the Mansons show....
9. I've already updated, having a proper play tomorrow, so I will report back!
10. Wahay! Just been told, the new firmware is available! I'm at home today so I'll get it loaded and report back later

Sold!

Hi, please read this http://basschat.co.uk/topic/122273-important-when-youve-sold-or-withdrawn-your-item-from-sale/ Thank you!
14. As you have deleted the title of your sale thread, nobody can see what you are selling or sold, without looking in detail at the OP. In this case there is no information there either! It is not a formal "Rule", but the moderation team have respectfully requested that sellers do not delete the original sale title, but merely ADD the word "Sold" into the title. It would be great if you could do this please!

16. I think they were at LBGS last year? Maybe the year before perhaps...
17. My favourite amps are the Fender and Ampeg... I like the Trace Elliot too. All very authentic.
18. Having had a bit of a break, it appears Mansons are doing another Guitar show on Saturday 3rd October at the Corn Exchange, Exeter More info here:- https://www.mansons....ar-show-2015-46 I will be there with MSL, showing all the lovely Markbass goodies, including the Multiamp. There might even be a DV Mark one there too, for your guitarist friends to see!
19.
MoJoKe - good to see your in ears journey progressing. Knew you'd go customs in the end! To those reading the thread, you can save yourself the money by bypassing the middle stages! :-p The end game is inevitable!
He's right, ya know!!
20.
You can set the master volume as a separate control or have it change with the patches. The former is the way to go live.
+1 definitely! you'd have to be really good at matching the output levels of all the patches otherwise! Some of the Factory Presets have MV included, and the output level jumps up and down all over the place as you select different patches!
21.
According to the manual the "S" version does mono bridged @ 1000w
It does indeed, at 8ohm.
22.
If you like listening to CDs, then you'll have no problems with IEMs. All in or nothing in this game. If you are relying on hearing the ambient sound bleeding through your IEMs and mixing that with whats being sent from your aux, you've already lost the game. The key approach is to control what goes into your mix... so if you want the audience, mic them.
+1 Even with the standard Shure 315's I use, there is no ambient sound unless you have your in-ear levels set inaudibly low! There's nothing worse than an audience member coming to the stage to request a song or ask you to announce someone's birthday... even pointing at your ears they don't seem to understand you simply cannot hear them without popping a bud! We now have a pair of cheap Behringer condenser mics, one on each mic stand, pointing forwards, our X32 desk routing them just to mine and the guitarists aux channels. Having used my 315's for a year now, I'm considering upgrading to cosmic ears 6 drivers. Its not that I am majorly unhappy with them, it is more that the swivel joints are corroding and getting very crackly, even though I regularly clean them with switch cleaner. so, if I am upgrading, I might as well go up a few levels. I would welcome some user feedback on Cosmic Ears?
23.
I've just noticed that the mono version also has stereo line outputs - so worst case scenario, another amp could be ran as a slave for stereo operation. Interesting!
Interesting indeed!
24. You can certainly adjust the master on the fly, I was doing just that last night! The DI out has its own level control, which is switchable on the rear panel +4/-10db, and there are additional DI options in the system menu. The DI Path can be set at the end of chain, post or pre amp EQ, and you can further adjust the DI Level.
25. From memory you can choose to include or exclude the master volume for presets. I can't remember offhand where this is in the programming, I'll have a play and confirm how this works. I just know that all my presets exclude master volume!
