1. I have a jazz bass which is not worth a J-retro or similar, but I'd like to put a preamp in it, without needing to chop wood! Has anyone seen/tried these... http://guitarfuel.com/SBK-2A_Preamp_EQ_Harness.php
  2.
It's never too late.
Sadly ended up buying a GT6B... had a gig, couldn't wait.... Have a bump on me anyway
  3. What an interesting one! 4. Have a bump on me for a lovely bass which I would love to have, but cannot afford at the moment!
  5.
Exactly what I mean. By the way the rules are worded and the rest of the ads are, it's not an eBay promotion site, it's a sales site.
This section of the site is clearly marked as a "Market Place", with the very obvious intention of providing a place to offer items for sale, at a fixed price, to this strong community of other fellow bass players. If not controlled, the "Market Place" could simply become a "go check ebay for stuff I'm selling" place, become very cluttered and provide no value whatsoever. I am completely in support of the mods if they choose to restrict this activity, though maybe in future the "Market Place" might have a sub-forum called "Go look on ebay, I have no intention of offering you guys first dibs or any favours, I simply want to sell my stuff for the highest price, and need somewhere to advertise it..." Anyone else want to chime in here?
  6.
It's not worth getting into a tizz, David. I read your add and knew exactly what you intended. Other, possibly, than start by saying "Up for sale on eBay is my [X]" you couldn't really have been clearer.
Like many here, I absolutely get your point. 7.
PMed about Manuel!
He must be tiny... the box is not very big at all, and with the pedal in there too....
  8. I use one... This is simply the best tuner I've ever owned... Manuel definitely isn't needed either, whoever he is! Seriously, only two buttons, one for calibration (which you'll never touch!), and one to select one of about 5 different display options... you'll find the one you like most (little clue here, its number 3!) and will never need to touch again.... compact, simple, black and pretty damn perfect! Oh, and the button mutes the otherwise uninterrupted signal! If I didn't already have one I'd by this..!
  9. Can anyone help me with a quicky here? On an ME-50B can you have chorus and delay at the same time? Thanks!
  10.
? Great review.
Sharp, incisive, witty, informative..
  11. I still occasionally use my trusty old Nady 201VHF, which is on 175Mhz. I have no idea, and can't find out whether it is still legal to use in the UK, various sites say it is legal and licence free as long as the output is below a certain level, but I have no idea what its output is... All I know is, it still works better than many of the digital systems i've tried, and I don't seem to pick up any taxi companies on it!! Perhaps someone here knows the answer? I found this:- "deregulated radio mic frequencies of 173.8 MHz to 175.0 MHz conforming to MPT 1345 at the 2 mW power levels." on this site; http://www.amps.net/newsletters/issue10/10_radio.htm An interesting site if you actually know what you have got!!
  12.
hello...? if y that rich buy a fodera or alembic u dumbass. altho i do like old burners. but the rest of em, to clean cut nice guy.
I'm not quite sure I understand your comment. Kiwi has an Alembic in a really nice stable of basses... This is a great review of a stunning bass...
  13.
Value/Price doesn't come into it for me, I gig what I own. My basses range in value from £200 - £5000 and I don't consider the value when I'm doing a gig, as they are instruments to be played and enjoyed.
My pair of Lakland 55-02's (fretted/Fretless) go to every gig, whatever it is... They live in their highly padded Ritter gig bags until soundcheck then go back there until we play... I don't own any boutique basses at the moment, but used to be perfectly happy to take my Wals anywhere too... all insured so whats the worry, and everyone in band/crew keeps a close eye on all the gear if need be. I don't distinguish the value of the venue/fee against the quality of performance or gear I use...
  14.
"...with built in food control pedal..."
I, for one, could do with one of these!!! Good luck with the sale!!
  15. I also have a DHA VT1 Mk1....
  16. Now resolved, thank you! This is hopefully not too much of a long shot. I've got a buyer waiting for my XT Live, but I need to find a used ME-50B to replace it with. If you have an ME-50B you want to sell, or which you would like to trade for my XT Live, I'd love to hear from you!! The XT live has been used for about 6 gigs and is pretty much in new condition, is complete with power supply, original packaging, manual and a Gator gigbag. I'm not putting a price as I hopefully won't need to sell to anyone else but the guy who I have offered it to...!
  17. I had two Olive Ash faced Mk1's. It is such a beautiful textured finish and catches the light so nicely, I think the by far the best looking Wals by a mile. The tone is gorgeous too. I have regretted selling mine so much... Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that!

    old zoom multi fx
Dunno about the zoom lolly; I always preferred a Fab or the humble Minimilk.
Nothing humble about the Minimilk... Understated deliciousness, the god of lollies!! I always through they should do a Maxi milk!!
  19.
Then why isn't it a .pdf? Firefox doesn't know what to do with it. Acrobat Reader is not offered as an option.
I use IE9 mostly which didn't have a problem. I have tried saving as PDF and reattaching and it simply does the same again. try right click and choose save as: and rename it as a PDF when you have downloaded it...
  20.
Is this still available?
I've got one I might part with... PM me...
  21. Guys, a bit of facebook "like"ing needed!! Would really appreciate the support.... Many thanks in anticipation!!!
  22.
so what's a .ipb file then?
Try clicking... its a PDF!!
