1. Still no postage on this badboy?!
2. Steven is an absolute gent and squire! Paid so quickly for the orange cab and has kept up wonderful communications throughout! Any one who deals with him can do so with utmost confidence!
3. Up for sale is my Orange Bass Terror head. It has done one gig and one rehearsal so is in as new condition. I have all the boxes etc to post out. This is a phenomenal bit of kit and there's not a mark on it. It's versatile, practical and sounds amazing. I love it but I am still looking for something a bit different. It's loud enough to bring down aircraft but can be used comfortably at lower volumes. This is a more recent model without the d.I. Issue. I am looking for £350 posted and I'll include a neutrik speakon to speakon cable in to the bargain. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. More photos on request. am also open to offers so please don't be afraid to ask, worse I can say is no :-).
4. Yeah got a Japanese 62 Reissue in Fiesta Red, it's a beaut!
5. Got an akai analog delay pedal. Superb bit of kit and real warm sounding delay, not too clinical. Versatile and works well with bass and guitar! It's in superb condition, still have the box which is a little damaged and has added Velcro on the bottom to attach to board. Reason for sale is I have no need for it in my rig any longer. £35 posted or £30 if you collect from Saltney. I'm open to offers so drop me a line!
6. Give me a couple of days and I may well have this off you. Just got to shift a few things.
7. So you finally cracked then?! This is a cracking piece of kit! Please deal with Peety in utmost confidence. A squire and gent of the realm!
8. Someone is going to get a whole lot of bass at this price! GLWTS!
9.
This sounds like it could be my dream bass &, for once, I have some money to spend. Looking forward to the pics.
The Lakland BG's are superb basses. My profile photo is me playing my old black one with all it's pickups added etc. You will seriously not be disappointed.
10. I bought Ian's CIJ '62 P-Bass. Really nice guy to deal with, great comms, great taste in music ;-) Best of luck at the Institute sir.
11. Peety (aka Steve) bought my Duck Dunn off me on Thursday, smooth transaction, great comms, all round gentleman of the realm! Would deal with him again no problems and would advise anyone else do deal with confidence.
12. One sold here recently, missed out unfortunately! Wondering what they're like?! Neck width and length?! Playability?! Sound?!
13. What's the neck length & width like?! I have heard they are shortscale? Being 6' 3" and quite substantial in frame I think I might look a bit of an eejit if it is!
14. And sold to that man over there....
15.
Hate to say it but "told you so " Deal with extreme confidence folks, Tim's a good un!
Ahem :-/ haha! You're too wise to me Karl! Thank you once again for your kind words!
16. 2008 was the year it all changed. Apparently though some of the earlier Indonesian ones are absolutely stunning, certainly on a par with the Korean ones!
17. Hi Guys The old GAS monster has caught up with me once again and something must go. I got this in a recent trade for my 62 AVRI Jazz bass with Tricky of this here parish! This is a superb bass and is in superb condition! It of course has the Lindy Fralin pickup and the beautiful pearloid pickguard. It's got a little bit of buckle rash on the reverse and a tiny little hardly noticeable ding on the neck but doesn't affect the playability in anyway. To think this is 7 years old it's almost in brand new condition! Playability is sublime, nice low action with no fret buzz or choking, currently strung with D'addario Chrome Flatwounds to give it that classic Motown/Stax sound! So why you may ask am I selling this bass when I am so overtly impressed with this beaut?! 1) I have my eyes on something which would be more appropriate to my playing needs. 2) the jazz profile neck is just a little too thin for me these days, I much prefer the feeling of precision/stingray neck! It will come with it's padded and branded Lakland gig bag! I am somewhat reluctant to post but will if required :-). You can always collect from my fair residence here on the north welsh border or I'll happily deliver within reason! I am looking for £575 ONO cash/bank transfer (+ say £20 for postage if needed) or alternatively trade value of £650 but I am specifically looking for a lovely Precision bass with a nice big chunky precision neck! But try me I am very open minded. Tim
18. Would you say that this Has this got a good hearty neck on it?!
