  1. I have a friend looking for an introduction to Spector basses after seeing mine. I’ll let him know this is still available. I’ll PM you tomorrow. Cheers for the reply.
  2. Which he clearly is, and I agree, I’d do the same, but it still must be a little disappointing not having the right partner in crime to really shine.
  3. For me, it’s Robert Trujillo of Metallica. The man is an incredible player. I know the money is great, the tours, etc etc etc but imagine having to play with Large Oil rig as your drummer.
  4. George is a real pleasure to deal with. Great comms, item as described, great packaging, and fast delivery. A top bloke. Would happily deal with him again. Thank you ☺️
  5. Morning. I’m interested in this. Could you tell me the condition of it please, and also, how old is this pedal? Thanks in advance. Cheers.
  6. I’m amazed this is still here. A lovely looking bit of kit 😊
  7. That’s very lovely looking bass. If I had the disposable, I’d take this off your hands. GLWTS ☺️
  8. Was this the one at Bass Direct? I always thought it was a lovely looking bass. A shame you didn’t get on with it. GLWTS, someone is in for a real treat.
  9. Really, really sad news. A great bass player, singer, and musician. Budgie were brilliant and I wish I could have seen them live. The Welsh Rush in my opinion. They should have been much bigger than they were. RIP Burke. Thank you for the music 🌟
  10. I’m really surprised the paint shop would be closing. A real shame. I kind of get why production may halt, especially under the current world circumstances, but it is pity to hear that a British manufacturer is stopping production. Good luck to him, always. A top company ☺️
  11. I had one of these. A truly wonderful bass. That looks amazing. GLWTS ☺️
  12. Fantastic basses, and that colour is stunning. Someone is going to be very happy. GLWTS ☺️
  13. A beautiful bass, and a keeper for sure. Enjoy, and congrats ☺️
  14. Stunning bass, and even better with the chrome hardware. GLWTS ☺️
  15. That’s a real beauty, mate. Wow! Love it! The perfect colour too 😉 Can’t wait to hear it live one day. Enjoy, and congrats ☺️
  16. Hi buddy, you are welcome, I think 😂 I’ve sent you a PM, by the way. Right, now back to Spector. I’ve yet still to see this Euro of yours, so pictures please. Also, yes, my sounds unbelievably good. I now have a real passion for Spector, and though not a collector, I do intend to try and get one model from each range. I have the Forte, and a Euro Bolt, so my next one will be one of the Korean models, then a (I think they are) Chinese models. That’ll be one from each range. Sad I know, but I am hooked ☺️
  17. I watched the new factory tour. Very fascinating, and always cool fit a geek like myself. As for your last comment about “risk of a slight dilution”, I’m not sure. I think they needed to enter the multi scale race, as well as offering something different to the non Euro range of basses (Ethos etc), plus introducing an alternative to the LX/LT in the Euro range with the RST. They are definitely looking to attract a wider audience, which can only be a good thing. I don’t think it will dilute the US reputation at all. Saying that, I do hope they don’t go mad with loads of variations on a theme that Fender seem to do.
  18. I agree. I really think Korg have a handle on where to take the brand. Takeovers normally worry me, and did initially when Korg bought Spector, but they real do believe in the product and it shows with the beautiful instruments being produced. The essence and values are indeed, intact ☺️
  19. I did the walls before the bass 😂
  20. The new RST line look and feel amazing, plus I couldn’t believe how light there are. Actually, my Forte is really light too. Let us know if you ever get a Spector. You will love them, I promise ☺️
  21. Glad you like the pics, and yes, it is Empress Wood. Acoustically, it sings, really sings. So alive. Plugged in, it sounds huge. Such a great range of tones, and a very direct, and even response. Combined with some distortion, it has that classic Spector growl that has helped define this bass. I absolutely love it, but I think you may have gathered that already 😂
  22. I knew people would be eyeing this up, and if it went, I knew I would always regret not pulling the trigger. I think if I had pondered for another 24 hours, it would have definitely gone. It was a no brainer, and I’m just so flipping happy I did it. I genuinely love it. It plays, feels and looks like nothing I’ve ever owned ☺️
