  1. This happened yesterday ☺️ It was a very lovely drive up to Bass Direct in Leamington Spa to drop off a bass for a commission sale, and to also pick up this masterpiece. I am in awe of this bass. I fell in love with Spector earlier this year, and that admiration for the brand convinced me to go for this beautiful USA, handmade Forte 4 in Nightshade, and now named “Stormbringer”. The quality and attention to detail, is second to none. The sound, the feel, the resonance, the playability and the comfort is something I have ever experienced, and I’ve owned a lot of basses in my time. I’ve never had a bass with EMG’s before, and there a real revelation. Also, simple things like having a master volume and pickup pan instead of 2 volumes, just makes me happy. I also love that is has no fretboard inlays. A real classy, clean look. It’s like going from a BMW to a Bentley. Thanks to Ash, and Mark, for all their help as usual. So good to see them both, at last. Cheers all ☺️
  2. Good to hear. Glad you are keeping this beaut of a bass ☺️✌🏼
  3. That may well work. The one you gave demonstrated would be too big, but if I got the right dimensions for you, maybe we could chat? Thanks so much ☺️🙏🏻
  4. Sorry mods, I meant to post this in the bass section. Can it be moved there please? I’m not sure this thread is the correct one. Cheers ☺️
  5. Evening all. Advice appreciated please. I have 2 very lovely Spector basses (an LX4 and Euro Bolt 4) both with reverse P and J pups. I play very close to the bridge naturally, but sometimes, especially when playing the open E, move between the pups so would like somewhere to rest the old thumb. Does anyone know of custom made thumb rests to purchase? I don’t necessarily want the typical ramp, but if that is the only option, who are the best people to approach? Thanks in advance. Cheers ☺️🌟
  6. So much better. Thank you, and great job. I much prefer dark themes. Cheers ☺️🌟
  7. This was mine originally, and I miss it loads. I did the bridge upgrade, and it made all the difference. @Yan_Hureiis a wonderful guy to deal with, so deal with confidence. If I could get this back in the stable, I really would. It was the bass I recorded my latest album with, and sounds epic. GLWTS ☺️
  8. I have an ‘86 MIJ Precision with a maple board, and the neck does not move. I once didn’t play it for 8 years, and when I did start using it again last year, the strings were still in tune and the neck relief hadn’t shifted. Amazing bass.
  9. Sorry, I skimmed the post in excitement. You did state clearly. My bad. Cheers ☺️
  10. It is a thing of beauty, and never been an issue weight wise, live ☺️
  11. Happy to meet half way if that suits? I will say though, it’s going to be how you like to set up a bass that will determine your love / dislike of the “B”. I will say that it is precise, clear and easy to play. The way Vigier have the design is amazing. This bass has done 2 albums, gigged and every engineer / sound guy has only ever been truly complimentary ☺️
  12. Hi, this is around 8.3/8.4lbs or around 3.8kg. I hope that helps. Cheers ☺️
  13. Just cannot believe this is still here. I keep coming back to look. GLWTS ☺️
  14. Brilliant, very useful. Thank you so much. Thanks to everyone who has replied. Means a lot ☺️
  15. Hey gang, looking for advice on the best octave pedal for live use. Never used one live before, and not really sure the difference between models. I’m not looking for the cheapest option as I want something that will last the test of time, not overly complicated with too many options, plus of course, tracks well. All experiences appreciated. Cheers ☺️
  16. Cheers, appreciated ☺️✌🏼
  17. They really are, and this really is. Cheers ☺️
  18. Let’s harass Fender, I’m sure it’ll work. Another plan would be, you buy the Miami Blue one, I’ll buy a Mystic Surf one, and we’ll swap necks 😁
  19. That is a beautiful colour. I wish they did these with a maple board. Anyway, GLWTS ☺️
  20. I’ve heard so many different stories, that I just don’t know. Such a shame, and utterly ridiculous. Anyway, I’m sure this won’t be around for long. Take care, and many of us miss being part of the EU, a lot. Cheers.
  21. I keep coming back to view this. Loved these when they first appeared on the market. If this was in the UK, I’d come and try it for sure. I couldn’t risk it being sent, and as I’m not sure about the customs system in this stupid country, this will be going to some other lucky soul. GLWTS.
