1. 2 sets have now been sold. 5 remaining. Grab a bargain for some awesome strings
2. Hi Pete. I used these on a US Fender P bass 5 and they were strung through body as they were too long to just use in the bridge. On the B string, the string actually wrapped around the post so I had to put them through the body. There is a a lot of wrap on them so I should imagine they would fit your bass. I used to use them on a Mike Lull PJ5 as well and that was fine though only the B was through body. I hope that helps
3. Hi there, I'm selling ([s]7)[/s] 3 sets of brand new, unused, fully sealed, stainless steel, D'Addario EPS170-5 pro Steel Super Bright strings (45-65-80-100-130). These cost me £25.00 a set. I'm only looking for £15.00 each including P&P. Cheers.
4. Thanks guys, really appreciate you replying.
5. Does anyone know how to "sweat out" a dink in a lacquered body of a bass? Bought it new recently but didn't see the dink in the shop. A bit gutted so, if you have any solutions to solve this, I would be grateful. Cheers
6. Hi everyone. I have just bought a rather beautiful Excess 5 bass and just love it. I wonder if anyone can help me please? Firtsly, I have no idea what the strings are and what the guage of them are. Anyone know? Secondly, if I wanted to put heavier gauge strings on the bass, will the neck move? I love the action just the way it is and am worried that if I put heavier gauge strings on, the neck will move or are the necks that rock solid that it won't make any difference? Sorry if this sounds rather silly but, I have never had a bass without a truss rod. Any help and advice would be so appreciated. Thanks you in advance. Cheers, Matt
