  1. You're welcome matey and the Lull is sold Good luck. It will go
  2. I can't believe this hasn't gone yet. If I was into 4 string basses, I'd have this living out my Who dreams. What a bass and what a top bloke too
  3. This has been sold pending the usual. I will confirm the transaction tomorrow. Thank you
  4. BUMP for a price drop - £1600.00
  5. Ha ha ha ha ha ha maybe you should and if I need a break from TR, you can step in. A cunning plan developing here. Your plans sound intriguing and please keep me, as well as everyone else, posted. Looking forward to hearing / seeing it. Good luck again and thanks for the kind words too. It would definitely be nice to meet up and chat properly. I tried to catch you after your show at Celebr8.2 but it just didn't happen. Anyway, I've hijacked your thread enough - take it easy
  6. I hear you on that mate and understand totally. You have to do what is right for you in the end, sounds obvious but not always easy. As far as me making a good doppleganger, I have enough on my plate with The Reasoning bud ha ha ha ha ha ha. I did get a mail from someone saying I should go for it and my reply was "I've sold my Dingwall basses, I've grown a beard and drunk more beer than Tom so, I wouldn't get a look in." They didn't understand lol Good luck with the sale and good luck with everything you do musically. Are you going back to playing guitar and sticking with To-Mera? If you're ever down this way, drop me a line, it would be good to hook up for a beer and a chat. Take care
  7. Tom, sorry to hear about your Haken move, a top band and you always played a blinder. Good luck with the sale and look forward to seeing / hearing what you do next. Have a bump on me.
  8. Pardon? Me or the bass or both? ha ha ha
  9. Messages replied to and still here. Any offers out there for an incredible piece of kit
  10. Just passed this on to a friend. He really wants one. Good luck with the sale

  15. Here's something to warm your heart on a cold Winters morn type BUMP
  16. Hey Chiliwailer, I saw said bass and then saw what you have left. Yeah, I don't feel so sorry for you now ha ha ha ha ha Thanks for the posts matey, they made me laugh. Best of luck with everything and catch you again here soon. Take care Ben, I hear you buddy but I do prefer my P bass V. It suits my needs better and it's the one I play the most. The Lull is better in every way, honestly but, I just default to my standard US Fender P bass. Mad isn't it? Anyway, hope all is good with you on the oceans of the world and would be cool to catch up one day bud. All good here by the way and I'll be in touch. Take care my friend
  17. A '66 P Bas? Wow! That must have been really tough to let go? The decision to move this on was finally made yesterday but it felt the right thing to do. I just know that this is now going to sit there and I just can't allow that to happen. For now, I have all the basses I need and don't need this wasting away when someone could be really enjoying this beauty. You are right too, it will be easier to reconcile when it is gone to a new home. Thanks for the lovely post and I'll go hunting for your post now to see that '66 Take care.
  18. OK, I know I've been doing a lot of ummming and arrgghhing but this is it, I'm definitely selling this bass. As stated in an earlier post, I bought this in September 2012 from Mark at Bass Direct. It is in brand new, shop condition even though it has been gigged and rehearsed - I am über careful with my gear. The truth is, the Lull is just going to sit there doing nothing so I would rather someone played it. I have attached the pictures again and the tech spec from Mike Lull and Bass Direct. It really is a wonderful bass and comes with the Protec gig bag / case plus all the documentation. It is currently strung with D'Addario strings and I will throw in another set as well. If you want to know anything else, just drop me a line. I won't be taking this off sale again so, grab a beautiful US custom hand made bass today and all for £1700. I will deliver but at the buyers expense or, you are more than welcome to come and collect from Cardiff or meet within a 100 mile radius of Cardiff if that suits. Definitely no trades please. Take care. Cheers, Matt. 19. I've come to my senses at last, this is definitely not for sale and therefore, now withdrawn. This bass is one of the most amazing instruments I have ever played. Mike Lull has created a dream bass and I just cannot let it go. Thanks for all the comments - you are right, I'm just going to play it and enjoy it
  20. I would love to own one of these just because. I have an MIJ customised with all the same hardware but I still want a "real" one. Good luck with the sale and hope it goes soon - it's taunting me
  21. What someone else does with it, is clearly up to them ha ha ha ha I'm selling it because I'm not using it as it should be used. Cheers
