I cannot believe this is happening to me, but I bought a beautiful Musicman Bongo 6 HH (in red) bass 3 weeks ago and totally fell in love with it. The feel, the looks and the sound but, it's not the sound that is right for my band and music. I have been playing Yamaha TRB6 basses for years but when the Bongo was launched I had to have one. I am now about to go on tour and have resorted back to my Yamaha but I don't want the Bongo sat around. I paid £1899.00 and will be looking for either - 1) A trade for a good condition Yamaha TRB6P (not a TRB6 JP) and small cash adjustment depending on the condition of the bass. or 2) A trade for a good condition Yamaha TRB6 and cash adjustment. or 3) £1450.00 straight cash deal. I am absolutely gutted about this but I know what I need and this has to go. This bass has never been used in rehearsals or live or been out of the house and is in 100% new condition with Musicman case, which is also in immaculate condition. Good afternoon all on this rather beautiful day. Well, the time was right, so I bought a Musicman Bongo 6 which I have been after for ages. It was my birthday Saturday and as a treat to myself, I bought the Bongo. Therefore, I am now slimming down my collection to make room for this. My main live bass is my black TRB6, which I will never sell, but the Yamaha TRB6 JP (series 1) has to go. I have never played it live, it has only ever been used in my studio. I am sorry to see it go, but I need 2 basses to take out live and the TRB6 JP is just too beautiful to risk damaging in a rock and roll band. Anyway, enough of my waffle. This is in beautiful condition and has recently been set up by my guitar tech, who is simply a genius. The action is quite low but not too low and plays like an absolute angel. I have a few pictures, which I have attached here, but if you want anymore, just let me know and I'll sort it out for you. Because I'm in an extremely brilliant mood as well and happy with my new gear, I have decided to let this go for a very silly price. Are you ready? [b]£1000 ovno[/b]. Was this the same bass that was on e-bay recently? It is a stunner for sure. Just a few questions if you don't mind? 1) is it still for sale? 2) what is the string spacing and scale length? 3) can the Roland GK-3 pick-up and interface be taken off and if so, what damage would there be? 4) would you sell the bass without the Roland stuff and if so, at what price? Hi all and I hope you are well? I am now selling my 18 month old Gallien Krueger 1001RB II-210 combo (1000 watts of pure power) and Gallien Krueger BLX 410 cab (400watts). They are in absolutely immaculate condition and come with the respective, on-the-road protective covers, which are very hardy and durable. The reason for the sale is simple, I am looking for either a separate amp head and a single 6x10 cab. This set up is wonderful, extremely powerful and very versatile. The beauty of these separates is that for smaller gigs, the combo is easy and portable and of course for bigger gigs, the 4x10 will give you that something extra for such a show. I bought these for that very reason as, at the time, I was possibly going to be doing some cover band gigs with some mates, so to have a full 6x10 cab etc. in a pub environment was impractical for obvious reasons. Therefore, I thought if I had a very powerful combo and a separate cab then I would be covered for both the covers band - combo only and my main job where I play on bigger stages, thus the extra cab for the extra head room and spread.
