  1. I bought a bass from Bass Bros on Thursday, which will arrive next week. Will, as always, was brilliant to deal with. My first purchase there, and definitely not my last. It’s so great to see another brilliant bass retailer. I wish them all nothing but the bestest of success. A great world for us bass players. Pictures to follow of my new purchase, soon ✨
  2. I was so very nearly tempted, but something else has caught my eye 😉
  3. Hi there. Nice bass. What is the mark on the neck? How did it get there? Thanks in advance ☺️
  4. Cannot believe this is still here. What a bass and what a price. Hope it sells soon mate. This will make someone very happy.
  5. One of the basses I regret selling. Love these basses. GLWTS.
  6. The first Dingwall bass I’ve been interested in since I moved mine on back in 2011. Not normally a signature bass kind of guy, but this sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, not the right time to pull the trigger on one of these. I look forward to hearing all about them from the people who have been lucky enough to bag one ☺️
  7. Beautiful bass. Currently looking for a 6, so if the bass I’m selling on here sells, I’ll be in touch ☺️
  8. Until 11.59pm on Monday 10th April, I will let this go for £800.00. Come the 11th April, this goes back up to £875.00. Grab a beautiful bass at a bargain price. Happy Easter ☺️ *** OFFER HAS NOW ENDED ***
  9. I use mine in the studio all the time. An amazing bit of kit. Great price too. GLWTS.
  10. Selling my 5 month old Spector Pulse II 5 in Ultra Violet. The only reason for selling is that in real terms, I require a 6 string bass, so something has to go to fund that purchase. This bass is in immaculate condition. There are no dinks, dents or scratches. Never gigged, rehearsed twice, played in my studio, and kept in a smoke free house in a flight case (case not included in sale). The neck is straight, action low, and the roasted maple neck is a dream to play, plus super stable. It has been upgraded from the Tone Pump Jnr to an Aguilar OBP-2 pre-amp which was professionally fitted. This has transformed the versatility of this bass. A necessary upgrade IMHO. I’ve also put on Dunlop strap locks. This bass, and this range, punches well above its weight. Stunningly constructed, plays incredibly well, and looks amazing. It comes with the original box and tools/lead. Pick up preferred, but will meet within 50 miles of Cardiff. No trades unless you have the right 6 string bass in the same condition. Any further questions, please feel free to get in touch. Cheers 🫡✨ Here are the full specifications of the bass. Features: • Fully contoured Spector NS body design • Solid Swamp Ash body is lightweight and resonant. • Quilted maple top • Bolt-on Roasted Maple offers improved neck stability • Active EMG pickups & Aguilar OBP-2 noise-free operation. • Unique matte finishes Did You Know? • The EMG pickups used in this model are the very same Spector uses in their higher end Euro models, and even in some USA instruments. • Macassar Ebony is a new fingerboard wood for Spector. Slightly softer than traditional ebony, this wood yields a balanced & focused tone that's perfect for low frequencies. Top Specs: • Three-piece Roasted Maple Neck; Bolt-on • 24 Fret Macassar Ebony Fingerboard • EMG 40DC pickups on 5-string • Aguilar OBP2 Active Pre-amp • Locking bridge; Die-cast tuners; Graphite Nut • Black Hardware Body: Swamp Ash Top: Quilted maple Neck: 3-ply Roasted Maple Neck Lacquer: Satin Neck Construction: 5-way Bolt-on Fretboard: Macassar Ebony Fretboard Radius in Inches: 16 Number of Frets: 24 Inlays: Luminlay Side Dot Markers Nut type: Graphite Nut width in mm: 44.5 Scale (inch): 35 Manufacturer pickups: EMG Pickup middle: EMG 40 DC Pickup bridge: EMG 40 DC Electronic: active, 2-band equalizer, Aguilar OBP-2 Control: Vol, Vol, Bass, Treble Tuners: Die-Cast Bridge: Spector Locking Bridge Number of Strings: 5 String spacing (mm): 17 Strap Button: Dunlop Strap Locks Hardware: Black Finish: Ultra Violet
  11. I will never ever sell these 2 basses. A 2021 US Spector Forte 4 and my first proper bass, which is a 1986 MIJ Fender Precision modded in the late ‘80s to Steve Harris specifications. Both are very, very special and dear to me ☺️
  12. There are 4 I regret selling. The first is my first ever bass, a black Marlin Slammer. I wish I had that still so it could hang on my studio wall. Secondly my refinished 1964 Precision bass. It was completely refinished but still a little tatty. Thirdly, my Yamaha TRB6p Mk 1 bass. I loved that thing so much and still can’t remember why I moved it on. I played some very big gigs with that beauty. Never found it after much searching. Finally, my Mike Lull PJ5. A stunning bass and another bass that I played some cool shows with. All 4 have huge sentimental meaning for me. What a plonker. The things we do eh?
  13. I did think about this, but it’s also about not swapping basses live, unless I really have to. I may as well just stick to the 5 string. Thanks though ☺️
  14. It will be for live only. Thanks ☺️
  15. Thanks everyone. The Digitech Drop pedal looks really interesting. I’m going to see if I can find one to try, next week. Really appreciate your support and input. Have a great weekend. Cheers ☺️
