1. You gotta love the way Warwick sculpt the bodies on the Streamers. Beautiful. Ergonomically amazing.
2.
If you still need suggestions, Spector Coda, but why a jazz?
because I'm a Jazz bass nut. 😉
3.
It was a mistake to ask wife
Yes maybe, but I would had to sell the Maruszczyk after the deposit. And it might have taken a while. This Shuker won't be here long. 😊
4. How much for the 1975 jazz bass.?
5. This is only bass for a while I have really had a serious discussion with the wife whether I can afford it. Someone buy it and take its beauty from my eye.!!
6.
In the States bars usually have a list of bands they book and are not really open to letting new bands in, so it's tough. It's all about alcohol sales over here, not how good a band is.Meaning if your band is playing, there's a good crowd and the bar staff are raking it in at that cash register, your a good band. Personally unless your a teen band offering to play for free might make a band come off amature. You have to sell a band similar to how you would sell any other service.Set a price for your band and stick to it. Blue
Out of interest Blue. Are there not bars, clubs. that people just listen to music. I mean like Ronnie Scotts in the US, or the Jazz cafe in London. Of course there are always alcohol sales, but the music and venues I've ever been to the crowd are there for the music. Does it depend on how big the band are.?
7. The best reviews of Japan basses on YouTube imo. Great in depth review and everything you would want to know about the basses he's reviewing.. STR, Fender Japan, Tokia, Bacchus, Atelier Z, the list goes on. I don't know his name, but the boy can play. i wonder if he's a BC member. I love this Moon Jazz bass. My dream 4 string Jazz bass right there. Really like his reviews. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8KLeyJVFSU&t=6s
8. Alnico pickups on the 60's RI.? Standard single coils on the standard MIM model. Both made of Alder, Both have maple necks, rosewood board, while the standard MIM comes with a maple FB as well. Both have three piece bodies. Someone will come along and correct me I'm sure. Must sound great with the active EMG's. Do you have any pics.?
9. Very cool. Thats a long time, to keep one of these with all the accessories.
10. The Perry Sister's sang backing vocals for her, all the way through Rapture, Giving you the Best that I've Got and Composition's. The call themselves Perri. I had the pleasure of meeting Lori Perri backstage in Birmingham. Phenomenal singer who has done work with Prince, Al Jarreau, George Benson. This album is absolute gold dust imo.!! Its called the Flight. Incredible singing and amazing bass playing and the Keys are fabulous.. I have it on Vinyl, (which is so hard to get) Cassette and CD. In my top 5 albums. its so so good. Everytime i put it on it brings back amazing memories. Excuse the quality.
11.
Never seen the jools clip. Nice one. This is one of my favs. Nathan East on this one I think
Nice one. A wonderful record.
12. Then her debut album, The Songstress. Which is an absolute cracker with lots of amazing bass playing.
13. She started out with the band Chapter 8.
14.
Cant emphasize too much how good this bass is!
Am I wrong on saying that PRS basses are not cheap.?
15.
If You want something good and non expensive, You should consider theese two models https://musicsquare.co.uk/156821_Fender-Squier-Vintage-Modified-Jazz-Bass-824270s-CAR-Bass-Guitar.html https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/JBass77Amb
I dig that Amber 77 jazz. I don't care about the name personally, but I'm worried about quality and playability. I'm coming from a Maruszczyk so I'm not super high end.
16. Only my opinion. But I would keep this in a case for 10 years. They will be classics and worth alot more. Imo. Good luck with the sale though.😊
17. IMO. one of the best Anita Baker records. Freddie Washington slapping on that P Bass i believe. This is what soul music and her music, is all about for me. She's without doubt my desert island music. I think me and my sister have everything she's ever recorded between us, and been to see her live seven times. We can sit and listen to most of her albums and sing the lyrics back to back. Freaky soul loving brother and sister.
18. And people are moaning about music awards. She, among other's are the reason for them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bey9z9N0JzE
19.
He's rather good isn't he. What album(s) would you recommend?
His debut The Golden Age of the Apocalypse is still a cracker. Start from there. Very interesting BassPlayer/Songwriter,
