1. Just an epic 80's electric groove record from the Pointer Sisters.!!! Absolutely love this record. (as does my sister)
2.
I think he means the "808 Dink Fair Sweater Broodcock", if not, he might be talking about the awful quasi, cacky, tinpot attempt at a Cowbell sound, that was crawling all over Whitney Houston 80's tunes. Then again, it might be those funny Tom sounding things...... Wet hey, similar sounds here on this terrific tune. Amii Stewart.
fantastic record bud.
3. [s]This for me is listening and time, Melvin just nails this and uses this song to the best he can . and recognising the melody. [/s]
4. Listening. Well IMO thats one of the best starts. Its whats its all about. Its innocent, and thats where i think music always comes from.
5. What the f*** is the 808 dink.? i presume its that keys/sync sound..?

7. One of my favourite bands of all time. The UK's finest at one point in time. Loose Ends made some rubbish imo, but when Carl Mcintosh and his band did it right, they really did it right. I adore soul music and music like this reassures me. Hangin on a String i think is a masterpiece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz1kvk9qeWI
8. This album and bass with its humbucker and active pre imo shook up the world. We all know what bass Tim is playing. One of the best slap intros to a record. http://youtu.be/rqkMsXcHQYg
9.
Great, very Steeley dan, and thats a massive compliment!
I agree. Very Donald imo. Very Gaslighting Abbie maybe very later Steely Dan.I think it's that piano chord progression that you might imagine Donald Fagan to come out with. Imo
10. Anyone notice the 70's pickup spacing.
11. Just a magical bass line he wrote to imo, make a groove and add harmony where there might not have been on a pop record. http://youtu.be/EIdzGh01QIA
12. I just think this is great. Amazing keys and overdub vocals from Ed at the start. great bass playing. Fantastic horn section. Totally on point groove. I love him and all he has ever recorded. Him at the Jazz Cafe with Incognito was amazing. http://youtu.be/-Zm8Ki6WtJo
13.
I don't play drums and I'm not great at anything. Blue
Blue, you are as great at your opinion, as I am posting soul and funk. Both subjectively great. Bub.
14. Can't change the price/trade value for some reason. Aguilar GS212 for sale. Good condition. Awsome cabs. £350 pickup only. Only selling as I've been made redundant. More pics on request.
15. I was pointing out that Mr Bieber was a little more talented than what's on the surface. Jeez. I'm not saying he's as good a Drummer as you Blue or any other of you great drummers out there. 😉

Good lord a top spec Nathan East Yamaha. Superb. I would love to play one of these.
17. Like maybe you've not seen him before. Awsome stuff and a great talent. Pity it's been lost along the way. http://youtu.be/wW9Saj9V-js
18.
Hallelujah!
😂😅😆🏳🏳🏳
19.
Agreed ,but only to a degree. As a bass player I'm going to notice your ability a lot more than the sound of whatever bass your playing. Blue
I'm talking about the sound of different basses.
