Jazz

Maruszczyk Elwood 5, Delano Sonar 2 band with Bartolini's. 8.2 pounds. It's an absolute beast tonally. It's a superb instrument and a joy to play. Seems have the same neck dimensions as a Lakland 55.
5. If I was going to New York, Rudy,s Music is the one. Rudy Pensa that is. Amazing place. His basses are my mecca. Check out the website.
6. Looking forward to it. As long as there is no slow vocal ballads from JK ill be fine.

10.
I rarely comment on clips. I listened to the first 40 seconds and turned it off. This guy knows what's happening, awesome ear, timing and groove. I knew what he was doing there was no need to listen to any more. He had taken me to where I needed to be in the first 40 seconds. Bravo! Blue
Do you smoke weed.?
11.
Great song but I always think of Money Don't Matter 2 Night when I hear it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pel9PNvxTGs
Has got to be my favourite Prince record.
12. Alot of this bassline is improvised from Marq.
13. Ive heard this record so many times and loved the bassline to it. It's played by Marq (remarkable)Jefferson. Really dig his playing.it's so creative. It really makes the record imo. His playing is so great. http://youtu.be/HBG3hBBiYLk
14. Love this guys bass playing. He's an absolute monster bass/session player imo. His stuff with Groove Collective is very cool. His playing is just so precise with wonderful groove. Him and GC are just a joy to listen to. http://youtu.be/eM2FF6BaN8w His playing on Maxwell,s classic album is also fantastic. http://youtu.be/Y91V1iDmNto
15. I gotta say those black pearl blocks are a really nice touch. I didn't realise the Deluxe Fender,s came with those. Very cool Jazz.
16. Maruszczyk Elwood 5. Delano pre, Bartolini pickups. Sounds amazing through Aguilar. Amazing neck. Amazing B string. Lightweight also.
17. Bartolini,s are not dark.
18. The master at work Live. His guitar playing is just so very cool. There is nothing quite like him and his music, and i doubt there will ever will be again.

20.
OK, so the idea behind the thread... post a youtube vid with no comments. The groove needs to speak for itself. Comments about other grooves in the topic acceptable, just not when posting a groove... Go! (PS Ignore the thread rules as they aren't comments above the groove that follows....)
always dig Frank Mcomb EBS.
21. Says it all. http://youtu.be/1MPKDRqhZ3c
22. I'm aware PSP have been posted before. I just thought this is amazing. There is no flash with Pino, (depending on your definition of flash of course)..for those who might not recognise bass from an audience ear, he's so subtle with his tone, you wouldn't even know how fantastic his bass playing is. His right hand thumb picking style on this track is really cool. .. Love the switch between time sigs, then on to the 4/4 time, we're he plays some fantastic fills. A tight a band as any...... ever... I do love Pino's understated bass playing..
