1.
This is easy for me - Peter Gabriel, So. Also my favourite album of any decade.
im very with you. Excellent album. Love this. Such a creative artist he is. i remember back in the early 90's he came on to the Brit Awards or some show like that on stilts. in some weird costume. Fantastic musician. he reminds me of David Byrne for some reason. Maybe its the video.
2. The bell end control is putting right off the quilted maple top.
3. Imo this guy is the master at the technical aspects of setting up a bass. The detail he goes into is great. He makes sure the instrument is in playing position when he corrects adjustment to the action, because the weight of the instrument lying down will throw his adjustments off. now that is a bass tech. ! THE guy to learn from. This is part 1 of 4
4. It January bass brothers. Just after the expensive christmas. That birds eye maple neck is incredible by the way.
5. Thats not a Celinder vibe. That is exactly like the pick guard and jazz body(apart from the bottom horn) of a Celinder. And yes i love them. i want.!!!! are they expensive.?
6.
UK artists but recorded in the States, hope it counts, Combat Rock or Sandinista - The Clash
No it doesn't count. especially when your lazy bass playing ass can't be bothered to post a link.!! sorry I'm only kidding..
7. i owned one just like this. The sound is huge and amazing. easily worth the asking price and more in my opinion.
8. This is DJ Premier, possibly the best HipHop DJ of all time imo. with some real masters of the genre. Nas, Rakim, amazing rapper, and my favourite KRS 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnl7Q_IBXbw
9. There is a reason there is "From Player to Player" on the headstock.
10. Ambient you read my mind. i love Talk Talk.
11. From Langley Park to Memphis by Prefab Sprout.. its a great album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEJdfDD4dVg
12. From Yellow Brick Road. absolutely love this album. Rocket Man is very special. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92s-MPAQBCU
13. Yep only UK albums. there are lots of them, we all being from the UK we know lots of them right.?
14.
Picture book is up there, I like a new flame too. I'm going to say 'A walk across the rooftops' by the Blue Nile. Or The Violent Femmes 1st outing.
Yep this a cracker from A New Flame Andrew. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbuYtk_X3gs
15. Im aware that this a vast spectrum of musical artists. For me there are lots. But this album stands out for me. Its just fantastic. every record is great. its a testament to Mick's song writing imo. Picture Book is the best album by far that Simply Red recorded in my opinion. . Its funky/pop/soul at its best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AkLpyiJ11o
16. thanks for the offer Shroombass but i may have traded the bass.
17. Talk about a guy who's a builder and a player. !! Awsome playing from Adrian. keep watching.
18. The Caprice looks like a Pbass cross Sterling. Imo they look like very cheap basses. have they run out of ideas.? they are probably very well made but do nothing for my eye. I think they need to think more innovative, i don't like the Bongo. but its different and they were trying. thats what matters.
19. would love a good Maruszczyk Elwood Jazz Bass. or a Moon Jazz bass. Sadowsky (no 24 fret) Fender AVRI 75, rosewood only. Sei Jazz.
20. Mint (apart from a ding on the back of the neck) Lakland 55-02. I'm selling this instrument and an Aguilar amp or Cab. (see amps and cabs for sale) Weight is 4.0 kg on my scales. its not a heavy bass. Ash body 19mm spacing DR Marcus Miller strings Maple neck and fret board Hipshot Licensed Tuners I think most know about how good these basses are. Huge focused B string. Amazing all rounder. Very comfortable instrument, and very user friendly USA made LH3 preamp. I do love the fact this bass has the same preamp and pickups as the USA Lakland's. it sound's pretty amazing. Imo apart from a SR5, or a Sei i once owned, these have the best neck's I've ever played. I personally think, this is the best 5 string ever made at this price point. A modern classic. If any one wants the Lakland or either the Aggy Head or Cab for a trade I'm all ears. Im looking for a really nice Jazz Bass. preferably a 4 and active. But i will consider a passive 4 string. i will consider 5 string jazz basses also. or i will sell the Lakland and either head or cab, and go from there. The Lakland comes in a Lakland hard case. thanks for looking.
