Does anyone actually know what Intonation is. ? Play a harmonic on the 12th fret of the E string and then play the open string. if they sound the same your intonation is good. try this on every string.. if its out adjust your saddle position. Intonation is the open string harmonic string relationship. like TwinCam said remember to stretch your string, and always wind up to tune up.

single cut basses are more about the person who's playing said bass, more than the audience audible experience. its how you over engineer an electric bass. imo

Absolutely love this. crisp staccato, percussive funky playing, possibly using just the tips of his finger tips to have that detached articulation, but keeps the notes going when he feels it needs it throughout the record .. and his double stops. just amazing Jaco. Im a huge fan of Mark King and L42. But I've recently posted on a couple of YT videos. I mentioned that i would like to see Mark do some session stuff, or break out from his usual music. My word did i get some hostile responses.
