1. i stumbled upon this, and found there are many more in many keys in a few other genres. hugely essential to practice your scales and fret board knowledge. its great to put this stuff practice to music, just makes the exercises much more enjoyable.. like i said its not just this genre of music, you can find many others. i loved laying down a bass line to this, and just experimenting. i hope this helps other's. 2. its the classic, money ruins everything in the end. i think Fender will never get rid of there legendary quality issues. I've played many Fenders over the years. but now, there is no way i would go out of my way to get another Fender. there are way better basses out there. and too be honest I'm bored of the Fender brand. the only Fender i would consider would be a CS, and then i wouldn't, because i could get a better bass for the same price. yep I'm done with Fender. apart from a nice P Bass.
3. extra bump. you just won't get a better 5 string for this price. 55-02's are so good. I had a Sei that was on par with my Lakland 55
4. i would like to trade every bit of gear i have for this.
5. Ronnie Scotts.? i watched him live stream from there
6. i can't say how good this guy is. the best Urban Soul album I've ever listened to, no doubt. fantastic pianist and singer. and i thought D'Angelo was good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7lorcq9WqI
7. i think they are killer. great band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAgDFPODf8Y&index=8&list=PL5C5b3bl0MkulfeAM8Tdh144zgrrx7Mgd
8. each to there own, but the words ostentatious, and over priced, leave a very bad taste in my mouth.

10.
I guess you have to ask yourself what you want to use it for...if you just want a straight and simple interface to capture anything that works off a 1/4" jack plug or an XLR, I can highly recommend the Presonus Audiobox USB. No MIDI though.
confussed. ? i have a Presonus Audio Box USB and it has midi.
11. such a great groove at 2.00 .
12. sorry i didn't delve into all of the posts, but what i did see is not jazz funk. excuse me if i have missed something, this is true jazz funk from a master of this genre imo
13.
I wouldn't say that RCFP are Jazz/Funk more like just doing what Steve Morse and loads more were doing 30+ years ago. Jazz/Funk is a different thing altogether.
this

17. I'm sure lots of guys/girls have heard of this guy. I have often followed this guy and his bass playing. he's pretty incredible to be honest. his groove playing is just out there. Incognito's Jacobs Ladder is immense. this first vid is very early Julian Crampton. the second is his new band, Canned Beat.. i appreciate this guys playing. i sound like a fan boy don't i. 19.
How is a theme about Poverty, Violence, Drugs etc. not relevant today ? The only thing thats changed IMO is yes "The revolution will not be televised" but it will be on Facebook.
spot on.
20. Im sure lots have seen this. but for those who haven't, its a fascinating look at a 40 year master of guitar making. its quite staggering how much detail he goes into, and how much knowledge he has, explaining the different aspects of his building process is really interesting. Ive owned a Sadowsky and it was fantastic. wish i hadn't of let it go. i think a few of his views are not gospel, because different luthiers have different opinions i guess. its a long one but very interesting. 21.
80s Hip-Hop has aged terribly IMO, I think there is better stuff around today.
so what is better then.?. Hip hop is not all about social commentary. Some people actually like the sounds. If you listen to white lines, it's as relevant today as it ever was. You must have missed that maybe
22. then again Robbie played this seminal record.. nothing to with my life in the UK, but later in life i recognised Public Enemy's message. a furious record. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVaw-uNx1K4
23. i remember when Peel played it also. i also remember when Robbie Vincent played it on the Big Beat Show. has a lasting effect this record.
24. this guy is f***ing awesome. he has a knack of rapping, that is so rhythmic. awesome voice. one of the best rappers alive today imo.. went to see him in birmingham 2 months ago. he is the sh*t..
25. this is the best hip hop record ever recorded imo.. there i said it. funny, i love so many epic hip hop records. . White Lines is great, PE is up there. but its no Grand MasterFlash. its such an Epic hip hop record.. when ever i think of the essence of hip hop its this record. .
