2.
The Who... in all their glorious, scrappy, untogetherness - Great stuff! Their scrappy untogetherness added to the excitement and magic of The Who... If you or I, or most any other musician were as scrappy, by design or accident, it would sound... well... crap! Funny ol' thing... music!
i never noticed that "scrappy" aspect but yes they were all over the place in a way with the drumming and the bass playing. adds a definite edge to the music. scrappy in a great package.
 3. Excuse my over posting but a friend posted this to me earlier. i wouldn't post it if i thought it was sh*t. for me a favourite band. they bridge a gap of funk and rock so well. its blend of magnificence. its such a great record imo.. the perfect rock funk record imo. 5. I've played a few and they kick ass. huge output pickups. really aggressive. i actually played one next to a USA jazz and preferred it. don't really like the lower horn shaping though but thats just my op. the feel of the neck was so playable.

 15. i might say I'm not really into true funk, i do like a mix of musical styles. but when i here a track like this i quiver at this funk. he was a real master. his dancing was something to behold, and I'm sure Micheal Jackson stole a few moves. i can't remember the amount of times I've heard his voice sampled, or the bass lines, drums. it was great acheivement, he managed to get people to peace at the Boston gardens. during the King assassination to come together through his music.. there was a huge crowd of people in Boston at this live venue, who wanted to riot, but James managed to calm them with a speech. it was inspiring to hear/see. lots of vids on youtube.. anyway Maceo with the funk. 16. im not a Stingray man but i do love them. Ive always owned Jazz basses. when i played a SR4 it blew me away. i ve owned an SR5 that was amazing. still have not owned an SR4 which are different, in lots of ways. anyways this guy is great on a Music Man. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvWiT6Q6Awk
 17.
Hey, Evesham, Worcestershire.
Nice bass. I'm In Evesham.. small world.
 18. George Anderson's playing from Shakatak is much better in the mix of there fantastic music too be honest. but he's one of the UK greats imo. i did enjoy (in parts) his playing here.
 19.
Well.......OP did say Brit Funk......lol... It was a term that always baffled me.
maybe its a typo from the OP. those posted before were always jazz funk for me. imo.. Brit Funk was . Brit Jazz Funk was . 20. wow. I've never seen anything quite like that. that is real talent. thats not just cabaret. thats in many directions. she's like the best session singer ever. so many voices.
 21. The Sadowsky single coils are great pickups. not cheap though, as you might expect. Wizard pickups.? your own spec but cheaper than most.
 22. thank you for that Ambient, sounds great as does your recording. i will check it out. really want an octave pedal also.
 23.
You can in looping, that's what I find so cool about it. It's really great with an eBow, you can use some really widely voiced chords even across 3 octaves, and using effects on them you get some really nice colours of sound.
oh cool, I've never used a loop pedal. I've seem them used, but never discovered them for myself. whats an eBow Ambient.?
