2.
Am I right in thinking that passive tone controls only serve as a treble cut?
cuts everything, boosts nothing..
 3. On board redeemer curcuit with no colour ON.. Front Pup 90% Back Pup 100% Tone 60-70% jazz bass heaven..

 6.
Jo5 with the Lindy Fralin pick ups but then i might be biased (Have of late had fleeting moments about selling/ or trading for a cheaper 5 as i hardly play 5 now if at all......but just not quite ready yet)
dont you pay in a reggae band.. i recognise that face... very nice JO
 7.
For me, it would be Fender MIA colours and styles. The range that the MIA Jazz and Precisions have is crazy small. Then go and look at what Fender CIJ do and its amazing. I would personally like more matching headstocks and more binding and blocks on the Fender MIA range.
i soo agree with this.. Fender USA are way behind the exciting things that CIJ and the CIJ custom shop do..i want matching headstocks, gold hardwear pearl blocks, binding..make me want to buy you!.. flame maple necks, tops.. LTD editions that dont cost a frickin fortune.. maybe thats part of the appeal... they could do more though... The Japanese do it.. sex that sh*t up Fender !!!!! oh if i was the Fender top dog you would love it.. im not saying bling all the time but every bass player looks at a new Fender, why not bank on that, and excite em i have heard on the grape vine that there is a new Fender deluxe comin out that is in the vain of the FMT or QMT.. with the new (proper) shape..that is gonna be smokin...!!!!!!
 8. i will add i remember seeing a EWAF show on Youtube and hated the big show... the music is much better on its own.. you dont need light shows for this music..
 9. i know knowone is knocking VW, but this is a cool vid... his brother played drums on Donny Hathaways "The Ghetto" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmOl7Q5cQpQ a very humble person me thinks.. as a bass player could you be in a better band?????
 10.
Still got my EW&F first album, funky as funk. Bad tune is an all time favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJoBYMrLt_8
awsome.

 18.
It's amazing what a new set can do. I'm a big fan of DR Hi-Beams which can bring any boring old bass back to life.
yep.. im a DR fanboy.. the best string/s available IMO.. Low Riders for me..
 19. Possibly the best disco funk soul 70,s band ever..who can tell..?? i was working in a crap booze shop when i was 19, and i had EWAF playing on the tape that my sister lent me.. this first tune was playing..these ladies came in..they were possibly late 30's, and were dancing around... they really were dancing!!..i really didnt realise the power of this band.. all of my friends were listening to dance or hip hop at another place and time.. i was coming out of that and remember what my mum was listening to.. i was so hooked... i think this music is so amazing.. i will listen to it until the day i die.. this was the tune that i had on... always makes me smile...and reminds me of my departed mum.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNiOmzK3z0c everything about this track is very cool.. brass section, vocals..his bass playing is smokin... when this track kicks in at 130 its so wonderful until the end..!! this is the standard.. Verdines bass playing at 1.30 onwards is fantastic..it gets better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db4w8TY6mpc She gave me this album and there is a killer Masters at Work track on it.... its worth waiting for,. 20.
Not that I'm knocking this sale because I'm sure that it's a great bass but, to me, the Road Worn series is like buying a pair of jeans that already have rips in them. Personally I always find the thought of doing so a bit weird. O_o
Have no doubt..ive played many Fenders and these are very good basses.. im indifferent to the road worn smoke marketing... i wouldnt like it any less.. some MIM's are really good.. i really diggin it
