Maybe Mark is sorting this as we speak.... its a no brainer...not as advertised.. ive never heard any other probs with Marks service, but surely (especially with vintage instruments) its the shops responsibility to check authenticity..not thoroughly is just asking for trouble.. on damaging his rep, apart from his erm..post... i feel this is down to how he responds to this situation....maybe damage limitation.. i gotta say i would still buy from him...

when you say easily...i take it your playing very hard...or is the string very worn?? dont think ive ever even come close breaking a string..in fact even if i pulled really hard on a string it wouldnt break?

i went to a rehearsal in Bristol on sunday..now im a pretty good bassist...well thats what i thought.. i witnessed some really really good musicians... my right hand man and great friend John is a fantastic keys man, hes been playing for 25+ years we met a couple of guys..a drummer and a guitarist.and a singer called nadine. after bout 2 hours we started to warm up..i was just looking around and smiling at how good it sounded.. i have so much admiration for some people.. some guys/girls are very special and make sounds that blow me away..i think its a sign of great musicians when you blend in with them but you stand out at the same time... they make you sound good. i was nearly in tears at how good Nadine with the drummer and guitarist sounded..im a bit of a sensitive bugger..ok i wasnt in tears but i was buzzing on the bass with the funny time signature that we were grooving over.. its great when you meet the right musicians.. and you know, i dont even care if we play live..so much joy comes from what you do when when your experimenting.. i will try and do a link to the band when i can

i remember first hearing this track from John Coltrane and listening to it over and over again.. just such sensitivity.. there are much more from the man... but this touched me at the time.. i was watching the sun coming up mind.. the track was food for thought indeed.. i think these are very cool basses, always thought they were cool in every genre... i played one with barts and it was a tone monster..very funky.....heavy mind.. i would love one.. like Low End Bee said..in white would be awsome.. love the black though..

what i love is the look on Roy's face..hes a very funny man... there both amazing.. a great groove..

owned 11 at one point..why i dont know...i only own one bass now.. unless your a pro,or in more than one band, i really cant see the point of owning more than one good bass..
