2. My dream bass right here on Talk Bass... i never thought a piece of wood would give me wood.. three Celinder J pickups with a Celinder preamp, on the sexiest J shape with a Sonic Blue finish with matching headstock, with a pearl bound neck.... The only other bass ive found nearly as nice as this was from the same Austin Bass Traders...and was a Marcus Miller tribute.. 3. im suprised this has not gone Linus.. especially with the US pickups.. IMO. and its only mine, dont drop the price.. this is well worth £400 with the condition and the pups.. a Gig bag and postage!! if i had the cash i would be there... i cant see a bad aspect from this deal...

 17. IMO the work ethic from Japan is far beyond any other mass produced make of bass... this doesnt stop at instruments..i remember watching a film about a Honda factory.. the way they organise there workforce and the thought they put into manufacturing is very impressive. i wouldnt hesitate in buying a Crews bass or a Moon etc..
 18. i put a set of DR low riders on mine and it was awsome..the B was super tight... a hex core makes a difference on a B string IMO... i
 19.
...and here i am overseas trying to sell this pretty thing on my avatar... <----
AAGH.. nooo...damn you over seas person.. ok you got pics?
 20.
My blue pearl with the black gloss pg and black knobs looks the bollocks! mm do seam to do colours very well and I have never seen a poor finish on one either, I was looking at the Teal and maple one that was in the fs last week and I thought how nice it looked then realised it was identical to my 2002 the main reasons I went knew was the fact I really wanted the normal ray EQ and alnico pup so already that limited me to fairly new (2008) ones and it was from Santa anyway
Pete everytime i see yours it reminds me of my old one damn you.. same colour...
 21.
Yes nothing gets past me! Unfortunately my financial position is poor, we've just released our debut album and we're back to promoting it as best we can right now and it involves a lot of work for little to no return. Hoping this will change soon, it's a shame otherwise I would have snapped it up mate!
yeah it was like the the bus was 2.90 but i only had £1.10.. and it sailed passed..
 22.
It's the only bass I'm interested in buying at the moment. The price of them has gone through the roof though! EDIT really like the last one, Paul Turner used the exact same one (colour, piezo, everything) back with Jamiroquai on the 2005 tour, sounded ace.
Did you see the one for £600.. i would without doubt buy 2nd hand.. the great thing about (among other great things) SR5's is they are so comfortable to play..other 5's ive had like a Lakland 55, or a Fender J5, are a little bit of a stretch..but the SR5 like the Sei, are a breeze..the SR5 was nicer than the Sei for B string and comfort...just a very together 5 string.. everything was there..
