5.
Im looking to sell or trade this beauty as its just not getting the use it deserves. For a sale I'd be looking for £1000 but would also consider a trade for anything interesting preferably a 4 string, with possible cash adjustment either way. In lovely condition apart from 1 ding on the top of the body that I had proffessionally repaired & doesn't really notice. Comes with a Fender special edition hard case with orange lining. Also the chrome covers that come loose with this model as an optional fit. More info: http://www.dv247.com/guitars/fender-americ...al-maple--41165 I'll get some shots up soon !! 15.
Basically mate, it sounds class. If you're ever in Newcastle give me a shout and you can come and try it. It sounds like Geddy Lee's Wal bass on Power Windows, but then I turn two controls and suddenly it sounds like Jaco Pastorius playing a fretted jazz. Then I quickly turn another control and I've got a slap tone to die for, reminiscent of the big American Boutique sounds you hear on the American gospel scene.
man! thats something i would like to hear.. post up some sound clips Chris...
 16.
Well, a big part of the ACG preamp that is often overlooked is that it incorporates a filter which filters out sub 20 Hz artifacts. These will never be reproduced as a true sound by your amp but I understand that the amp will try anyway as it receives them in the signal. With this filter, the amp has more power to divert at frequencies you will hear! Perhaps this is why my ACG sounds so striking! Every time I plug it in it's fills the room and sounds incredibly present like no other bass I've had. The sound just 'jumps' out at you! It's also a very versatile preamps because it's based around the low pass filter attached to every pickup. You have two knobs to control the 'envelope' of this filter and another dual band treble control. What you end up with is incredible versatile and very useable. It's easy to get that burpy Wal tone, characterised by it's strong midrange presence but it really is it's own animal, and sounds suitably boutique to match! And it's not just the preamp; the craftsmanship is incredible. There is no-one in the UK today who can work work like Alan at ACG. Add to that the fact they play brilliantly and you're onto a winning formula!
Chris in the nicest way possible, you might as well have of thrown a potato at me, and spoke in Klingon.... im not technically minded when it comes to electronics... sorry dude.. i would love to hear it though... i read all the way through it and all..!

 20.
Apparently now Nicholas Tung has dropped off the radar and hasn't been heard from in over year, at least to the people who have paid for instruments from him and heard nothing back! How strange. Perhaps some tragedy has befallen him, and sadly the internet world would never know because he didn't have a website set up for his relaunch, he was just operating off a yahoo email account.
i guess these guys are having issues in there life...shame to ruin such impecable reps though.. Its like Mr Celinder.. didnt CK say he had some personal probs? Did Nick Tung rip people off Chris?
