As always there isnt a huge difference in basses that span £1000 in difference..

Cant understand it when people when i hear "well i dont like it because it doesnt have the oomph of funk....well its not funk..and its not Jazz... i personally love it...im talking Lonnie Liston Smith,Ronnie Laws, Oh there is too many damn them.. good call as usual Pete..

I had the USA version and the MIJ is just as good IMO...thats where my money would go

No contest....Lakland all the way...both good basses but i prefer the Lakland... you may get a better Pbass tone too...you really need to try them if your going to drop 1K on a bass...

they will prob just call it the 2011 deluxe jazz... i very much doubt the spec has changed...cant see them stopping sales of the bass
