You are becoming known as "the man with a million avatars" assuming you are male this is.
He he, no im male...androgynous maybe,..the shot is of Erykha Badu...i love some photography and this IMO is a great shot..prob wont stay there...i should prob find a hobby hey..
Although I have never tried it myself, I can't imagine there would be any damage. The finish on basses is normally waterproof. If the bass wasn't plugged in I can't see the electrics being damaged either. As long as the bass isn't left wet then there shouldn't be a risk of rust or warping. Don't quote me on that though.
Are you kidding me? if water gets into the pots they will not work properly...water in the neck joint, after time this will have an effect on the wood...some basses have porous finishes..you cant get water out of everywhere..rust is not good on signal points.. use a dummy bass..
-
Are you serious...NO...cant see that doing the bass any good,,...even if its not plugged in..if its active and there is any water left in the pre it will fry it..the pots will suffer too...also water might will get into the pup windings... i guess this is mute if you dry it out really well...seems like alot of hassle...is it your bass? expensive?i wouldnt risk it

Dont think any of those bassists used flats on those recordings..roll off the tone on your jazz..is it a fender...The Mc Fadden and White head tune sounds like its played on a P Bass..so does the Bee Gees track... That tone for a jazz, i would roll off the bridge and roll down the tone... Hey NJE i didnt realise you were a cheltenham man...me too!! Hey do you play a Overwater at the moment...what band have you played for recently? -
My Sei Jazz..never get bored...what i plug the amp into is another question...Generator?

What strings do you use on a five string 35" scale bass????
bubinga5 replied to voxpop's topic in General Discussion
This is from Ed Friedland.... What does he mean by this? Quote... Their construction design allows them to fit on basses from standard 34" scale to 37.75" scale. If you play a 35" scale 5-string that strings through the body, DRs will definitely fit..... -
OBBM it is then...looking like real quality at a great price...

the fact that there great instruments is not the issue for me...im sure there great...its the fact that your playing an instrument that hanckers after someone elses tone, look, vibe...ok im prob being harsh...and cynical
