  1. Killer bass player. Am I right in saying he's playing a Pensa J bass there.?
  2. This may not be for everyone as it contains HipHop/Rapping. 😆 . I think she's is great and her lyrics and flow are fantastic. ... Personally I love Hip Hop.. BTW.. if you love HipHop I have a page on FB. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2819513011710092
  3. This is just fantastic AP.... A great tasteful rip of Erykah Badu's Window Seat. .
  4. Im pretty sure I haven't posted this guy before.🤔 Anyways there is so much going on in this performance. I just love the bass playing for a start. . I dig the trumpet effects . The backing singers. He and the whole band are just tight funky excellence.. imo.
  5. Why would you do this to me.?
  6. Ah ok, thanks. Just a question. When looping can you switch between patches on the fly.? So layer a clean sound then switch to maybe a synth sound while looping.?
  7. Like Bassman68 mentioned. Any experience with the B3n.? Seems it has alot of drum patterns.and also has alot of effects etc.
  8. Yes sorry I meant a Looper pedal. Preferably one with drum patterns. Im thinking the Boss rc10 r.? Anyone got one or something like it.? https://www.thomann.de/gb/boss_rc_10r_rhythm_loop_station.htm
  9. I have seen a catalogue with these TRB's many years ago. These are rare instruments. It will be gone soon.
  10. Can anyone school me on loop pedals. How they work, what's the best, how much etc etc. .. Yes I'm an effects dumb donkey. I really would like to have a good amount of drums to play along with. Thankyou for any info.
  11. I have an OBP3 preamp in a bass. I love it but I get a really loud popping noise when switching from active to passive (stack pot), also a high pitched noise when switching the mid frequency stack pot. This seems to be happening only on the stack pots. What might cause this. Any ideas.? Thanks.
  12. some specific Elvis Memphis sound. Prefab Sprout. Deacon Blue Raintown album.
  13. Now THAT is a stunner. And a PJ. Good lord.
  14. Don't get me wrong I love the sound, I have played Aguilar electronics for many years and love them. But there is a switch that doesn't do anything. I presume its/was a bright switch or a coil switch for the Nordstrand pre. . Any ways I've been playing this bass over the weekend and ive got to say this instrument is pretty amazing. It reminds me of when I first played a Lakland 5594. It just has that feel of playability and resonance. Its a 34.5 inch scale I believe. I just put some Dunlop super brights on it. The B string is just.....wow. Back to its original spec would cost around £500 fitted so I'm not so sure its worth it.
  15. Ive owned a custom Suhr and they are without doubt the best Jazz basses available.
  16. I emailed Cary Nordstrand yesterday and he emailed me the original spec sheet for this bass. Im wondering if i should bring it back to its original spec .. that being the Nordstrand 3 band with Nordstrand fatstack pickups.. hmmm. As someone said to me recently, were not into bass guitars to make a profit.
  17. This used to be my bass many years ago.. Cant remember the year. Its has bartolinis. The pre used to be a bartolini 2 band. Its a great bass.
  18. Suhr Humphrey dual coil jazz bass pickups from Suhr .Raised pole pieces for A/ D string balance. They came out of a Suhr jazz bass. These are rare unless you order them from Suhr.
  19. Its no Pensa.😆 but wow the build quality is the best ive ever seen. It pretty pointless me babbling on about how good it sounds. Aguilar obp3 through those Aguilar doubles. It sounds good to my ears.
