1. I prefer the neck on a Maruszczyk to a 5 string Fender. It was like a Lakland 55. Much more comfortable for me. Lets not forget you can specify your neck with a Maruszczyk. So its a mute point. The biggest deal i found is with a Maruszczyk in particular, your getting a high end bass, for way less money than a high end Fender. Fender are riding on there name to certain extent.
2. Looks like gloss finish. The controls have a reflection.
3.
I suspect he'd sound like Marcus Miller regardless of what he played through.
This..
4. Thanks for the info Danny.. That has helped my decision..
5. Well are they a warm sounding amp.? They seem to be relatively inexpensive. Just wondering about the quality.. Also i see them at GAK for £640 and then at Thomann for £385.?? Same amp.?
6. Anyone own one, any knowledge about this lightweight amp.?
7. They will always be my desert island band. They just seem to mix the music i love, so well. Some great stuff(if your a SD geek like me) on these recordings. excuse the sound, on the later parts of the vid. they are out takes of course.
8. Nice Sandberg's. Oli is a top man, deal with him in total confidence.. Have a bump on me.
9. The host is just awful. At the end, Marcus is not sure what to make of this guy and then the hosts gets emotional after his wonderful singing. Bizarre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edWJ7Esngaw
10. I'm sick of male chickens like this. Really put me off trying to form a band of any talent or great laid back attitude . I would much rather jam, then I know I can have fun, but be able to walk away. That, and most of the bands are Rock tributes.
11. When someone in music dies it's very sad of course . But I always think, I've got there music as long as I live. And that is Walter,s legacy.
12. sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my musical heroes. Any one know how he passed. ?
13.
Strip it to bare wood and clear coat it, like what Marcus Miller did like 20 years ago or whatever.
Marcus didnt refinish his Jazz

15. i think this is just fantastic. Tom Barney's bass playing is just...The horn section.. Jon Herringtons guitar solo is just epic. if its not Incognito its Steely Dan
16. Micheal Manson does this so well on that Roscoe. I love the fact that bass can be used in this way. The bass is so versatile.. The bass player playing on the bottom has just some f***ing amazing playing going on. . As has the Pianist. As has the drummer.
17.
One of the funkiest players on the planet ,i like his playing on 'Joy to the world ' even more but i'm sure that some fool will be along soon to point out where he's going wrong i wonder what it will be this time ' overplaying ' ' timing issues ' !!
i dare them. but seriously beauty is in the eye. Hes a cracking groove player though. Joy To the World is amazing Tim.
18. Im aware this/another vid has been seen before. But im gonna post it again. I think this guys electric bass playing is so special. at 2.30 his groove playing is way out there, and his musical knowledge and fills are amazing. The drumming is fantastic also... I take my hat off for this guy.. i think he makes music sound better. and thats whats important to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_KuD0AjWdE
