1. This never gets old..The album is a masterpiece . its so well put together. A true master in music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5LSRrAwUtA
2. I'm suprised this hasn't had alot of interest. The's Sadowsky standards are awsome
3. No, a Jazz bass is not going to be easier to play. Why not learn on a slightly wider neck(if this is the case) and when Jazz Bass day comes you will have the skills and more.. IMO. And i know its boring. But, forget about the Jazz Bass for now. You have a perfectly good bass, those Schecter's are great basses. Just concentrate and spend your money on your lessons. In the long run, you will win. Think of the Jazz bass at the goal in the end.
4. Why do bass players need them. ?? Unless your playing a bass with 9 strings. A huge point of playing a bass is your in control of its sound
5. What a cracker from Billy. Had to dig deep down in to my soul groove collection for this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZAIyMFbDnA
6. Ok, ive decided to keep the Sire v7. Huge amount of interest, i just cant keep up with it. . If knowone has spotted it, its a V7 Vintage in a cream with maple FB and black blocks. Im gonna get a PG for it. Im thinking a very dark tortoise, or a white pearl. ? Any suggestions. ?
7.
He'll be suing queen next for doing bohemian rhapsody in tune. Twit.
Erm, no. He's a genius apparently
8. Someone with a little more knowledge will come along im sure, but a compressor seems like a good choice. It will level out everything. Other than that, just use your ears and your hands. Those are your best effects imo.
9. Am I right in saying they don't offer multi layer guards or slanted edge guards.? Is it a pice of single ply, with a print behind.?
10. I had a Jazz exactly like this. With a chip in exactly the same place. Twas a nice bass..
11. My first ever Jazz bass was a Jazz 24 and they are as good as the OP says.
12. Mick you know the score. Im not reading until i see the candy.
13. Going through my record collection and i always come back to Patti Labelle. I love her voice. I also love this bassline and the record. nothing flashy, just groove. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVeBe5y0d9g
14.
Define 'better'.
More basses for sale within a forum.
15. Ive looked. I cant find one. Talk Bass is a treasure trove of amazing second hand basses, but too far away.
16. I cant see any of these vids on my Mac. Still cant work out why.
17.
Yes, it's quite inconsequential. I stand by my opinion - but it's just that; I'm sorry for bringing a negative tone to a good natured thread. @Bubinga5, I've enjoyed many of your contributions, so thanks for sharing. I do hope you all don't mind my nitpicking.
Not at all. It's an interesting point.
