1. Wow! that's a real looker I bet it's great to play to. Well done to both Mark and Howard on a lovely creation.
2. I think I'll wear my ..... Marmite t-shirt, I can only go for a wee while on Saturday morning but keep 'em peeled for me.
3. I like the avatar, very cleaver
4. I'm now monitoring through my hi-fi so these are no longer needed, thery are in very good condition and are an excellent upgrade from crappy computer speakers, full details can be found here: http://www.behringer...ducts/MS40.aspx I don't have the original box but I'll find something if you want them shipped. [s]£90.00[/s] £85.00 including shipping, a bit less if you want to collect them from SE26. R.
5. Thanks for replying. That's interesting I hadn't thought of the winding being different for the two pick-ups, can anyone expand on this?
6. Quick question for owners of Musicman 5 string basses with an HH config, does the neck pick-up have the same string spacing as the standard one near the bridge? Thinking of adding another standard pick-up that I have to my SR5 but thought I'd best check that the pole pieces will be in the right place as the string spacing starts to narrow as it goes towards the neck. Cheers R.
7. I hope to be there for a couple of hours on Saturday morning Twitter link is in my Signature.
8. 5 minutes on Basschat on a Sunday morning and I find out there's something else I need to buy, luckily it's not too expensive
9. Wow, love the look of it when it's got a lot of black in the pattern.
10. Has any kind person out there got a transcription of Norman Watt Roy's bassline on Ian Dury And The Blockheads - What A Waste?
11. Love the fact that they have burst the headstock, looks great.
12. That's a beautiful piece of wood, Roscoe seem to have a stash of truely excellent looking Buckeye.
13. I was at last nights Jazz Cafe gig, Norman was on great form and sounding good despite the awful house rig they insist on using at the venue.
14. Cheers, it's good seeing the body and neck together, Lawrence has been ill recently but says it's progressed since this picture and is ready for a trial assembly so the last major thing to be done is the finish.
15. BUMP for what will probably be the last price drop before I stick it on Ebay back at it's starting price.
16.
It's easy to get distracted while watching such awesome playing* (*well miming)
Gutted that for reasons out of my control I may now have to miss Fridays Blockheads gig at the Jazz Cafe
17.
Is that the right vid? That just a P.
Oops so it is, I stand corrected
18. You can see him miming with a maple necked PJ in this video from TOTP 1978
19. Odd that they stopped making them for a while. I do like Laklands (owned a JO5) especially the look of the DJ but I prefer narrower string spacing so alas I'll probably never own one of these.

New Zoom B3

You can save individual patches, which is quite good for sharing

New Zoom B3
Hm, I'm not getting this! I'll have a fiddle tonight. So If I have a factory preset that I really like and then fiddle with it a bit - the B3 automatically saves my tweakings, so I'll have to re-load the preset via a factory reset or using the PC/Mac software?
That does seem to be the case, it's like real pedals there isn't an 'undo' function, I've started saving patches I've made and like on to the computer so if I tweak them but don't like the changes I can get my original back.
