1. Have you tried the smaller pots? I have just picked up some mini CTS one's from Allparts they may work.

Good to meet you to Mark, I'll look after it for you for a while
3. Nice first build. Does the laminated body make the bass quite heavy? How have you wired up your pick-ups? Volume plus Tone and a pick-up selector switch?
4.
Just realised collection only....I'm always the wring end of the country haha.
Thats a shame, I do travel to Luton on occasions for business and the West Midlands to visit a relative but I guess that's not much help?
5. Just checked the serial number with the Lakland site and it's a 2004 model. R.
6. Had trade offers but nothing I'd be interested in, I might consider a Stingray 5 trade depending on the colour.

Good to meet you and have a chat over a drink, enjoy the Overwater
8. Gone to a new home today, hope you enjoy it Paul.
9. I've just started watching the Victor Wooten DVD Groove Workshop, it's very interesting, unlike all other instructional DVD's it's not about how to play a certain style or about music theory as such it's more about you approach to playing, for me I liked the statement about playing the wrong note "you are only ever one fret away from a right note" Worth a watch even if his playing is not your thing.
10. I'm very excited. Mark is practically a neighbour so he has visiting right
11. Just weighed it on the kitchen scales and it comes in at 9.6lbs using the 'weigh me with and without the bass' method not very scientific but the best I can do
12. Now my Jazz 5 build is finished it seems pointless keeping hold of this Lakland. Sunburst Made In Korea Fralins (I was told this when I bought it but have no proof) I've owned it for a couple of years, previously it been owned by at least two Basschatters. Excellent condition. [s]£750.00[/s] [s]£700.00 [/s] now £680.00 Possible trade for a MM Bongo 5, SR5, SUB5, very early 70's Fender Jazz Bass, Roscoe LG or SKB 5 string, Ibanez SR range 5 strings + or - cash from me. I don't have a case only a generic gigbag so it will be collection only from South London or I could meet up at a major London station. (I do travel to Luton for work sometimes and visit family in the West Midlands so it may be possible to work something around those visits) R. 13. Anyone tried the soapbar one's? thinking of getting one for a single pick-up fretless project.
14. Sold pending the usual formalities. Thanks Everyone. R.
15. One and only price drop to £900.00 I know times are hard but I'll keep it if there's no takers at this price. Chers R.
16. I'm glad this has sold as it was very tempting
17. Another Reaper user here, it's excellent, I find it's fast, stable, cheap and easier to use then Cubase - it also has some great routing options for creating weird sounds. FYI - I use it with the free Sample Tank player loaded and some sample libraries purchased cheaply from Ebay in the US.
18. Very nice, and looks great with the concentric knobs, good price to.
19. Bank Holiday weekend bump. Plenty of offers of trades but nothing I'm after so it's still available.
