I recently took up 5 string after many years only playing 4's and find the string spacing fine on my Stingray 5, it's the extra weight I struggle with during long rehearsals.
-
That's a nice looking bass especially for the price, with no dots on the neck it's crying out for a de-fret.

Blimey you guys are very persuasive, what I have decided to do is withdraw the amp from sale, I'll keep the HA3500 till I have tried the Ashdown in a band rehearsal or two. To be fair to Jase if he get the money together before Sunday the 16th I'll let him have it. Thanks for all the input. much appreciated. R.
Great amps , these. I'd buy it if I wasn't sorted and so should you. If anyone is put off by the fact that the screws holding the corners on are odd - don't be. I had my rack mounted 3500 stolen and consequently all the corners , screws, handle etc are packed away in a box that I still have. If you buy this amp and you want them , PM me. No charge but you can get me a pint sometime.
Dr.Dave, thanks for the HA3500 praise and very generous offer, sorry to hear you had your Harte stolen. Many Thanks R.

I have an Ashdown EVO 500 amp head coming soon so I have to let this go. I think most of you know the score with this head but the basics are 350 watts into 4ohms, valve pre amp and solidstate power amp. Excellent working order, Cosmetically all the knobs and fader work and the front and back panel are in very good condition, the top has some scrathes that can be seen in the pics and there are a few odd screws holding the corner protectors on, put it in a rack and none of that would show £160.00 collection from South London. Cheers R.

It's a long shot I know! I have 5 reserved deckchair seats for 'Sweet Soul Music' a celebration of soul legends that we can't now make and they are going to go to waste so if anyone is interested in them I'll let all 5 go for £20 (face value is £20 each) but you would have to collect them from me on the way to the show as there is no time to post them. www.popsinthepark.co.uk Cheers R.

I have bought and sold a few things on Basschat recently so thought it was worth having a feedback page now. If I have bought anything from you or sold you anything I would appreciate the feedback. Cheers R.
Hi Rumple, Thanks for the offer but I play left handed. Not a good time selling gear at the moment. I blame holidays plus base rate rises. jwbassman.... pm replied to.
yeah you could be right, I might hold off selling till nearer Christmas, no real rush to shift it. I'm lefthanded but for some reason play bass righthanded. Good Luck Dave

I can't believe no one has taken this off your hands yet. I have had a jazz a bass up for sale for a while that hasn't shifted either, I know it's a bit of a long shot but would you consider some sort of trade? a spare bass takes up less room then a spare cab http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=2643 Regards Dave
