  1. You dip it in washing up liquid then wave it about to make loads of small bubbles.
  2. I'm not a huge fan but I did enjoy the RFH gig a few years ago, I managed to get 3rd row tickets which helped. Count me out at that price though!
  3. Numan still puts on a very good show, I think you'll enjoy it BTW his Daughter often does backing vocals.
  4. I'm one of those people that bang on about how good it is on numerous threads
  5. I used to use UPS for anything of value but they totally trashed an amp I sent to France recently, I can't even work out how they managed to destroy it! now I don't trust any off them.
  6. Lovely looking bass that would compliment my white MIJ Squier's nicely.
  7. Blonde bursts do look good but very tricky to do well, I had one done by Bow Finishing it was lovely but it wasn't cheap.
  8. I have an A series Squier P with flats on you are welcome to try but not buy
  9. I'm rather fond of my JV Squier instruments, I have a Strat which I've owned from almost new and a medium scale Jazz that I got last year, both are excellent but I don't think I'd pay 900 notes for either.
  10. I'm far from an expert but I believe Fender started out using cellulose car paints, hence you find 60's Fords in Sea Foam Green...... Maybe call the auto paint people, they might have sold paint to luthiers before.
  11. I sold Geek99 a Fender 3 hole Jazz Bass control plate, very quick payment and a pleasure to deal with.
  12. I'm a sucker for a white bass, especially nice looking if it's translucent.
  13. Ha ha, yes that's my kinda thing, very nice indeed but I have no room in the rack for any more basses at the mo' GLWTS
  14. I've had both and prefer unlined mostly but I do get a bit lost above the 9th fret I like this idea
  15. It would be a fantastic value bit of kit at twice that price - enjoy!
  16. I have GAS for one of these, I mostly play 32" scale basses these days but I fancy trying out short scale and the Squier Jag seems like a cheap way to give it a go.
  17. I've seen that, it was on one of the BBC Freeview channels a couple of years ago, made by Jean Luc Godard, here's the trailer
  18. I can't remember ever being asked to play something by visiting friends admittedly there are no instruments out these days but even when there were I never got asked to play.
  19. It's driving me mad, I already have 2, one in black and another in orange/yellow plus 3 other basses so I don't need or have room for this but it's such a bargain! Must resist.
  20. OK so it's very pink and has roses in various places but I have two of these, one in sparkly black and another in orange/yellow and they make really great medium scale PJ project basses, this one is only £85 delivered at the moment! I'm tempted myself at that price just so I can take a heat gun to it and see what's under the finish. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gypsy-Rose-Bass-Guitar-/253411136958?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
  21. I had a Tokai Jazz Sound back in the day, very nice bass indeed, defretted it then years later had it fretted again by Bernie Goodfellow when he had a shop in Thorton Heath, I sold it when I gave up playing for a while.
  22. I've got a couple of SX basses that I prefer playing to any of my other decidedly more expensive basses, both cost a little over £100.
