1.
Closest you'll get is probably this: http://www.rondomusi...b40534natq.html Although fully appreciate it's 30" rather than 32" Si
I tried to buy a bass from them a while back but although it seemed to offer UK delivery it always came up as 'Item Unavailable' it may be because it had a Rosewood fingerboard. I just tried it with the 6 string and the same thing happened.
2.
Perfect for those who've been posting about not wanting to take their expensive basses to some venues. That's meant as a positive recommendation btw

This was mine at one point a lovely playing little bass and very easy on the shoulder whoever buys this will be very happy
Thanks chaps
3. Latest addition to the fold, MIJ CV Squier Jazz. Sorry for the fuzzy pic!
4.
Ah, didn't see this the other day!
Oops sorry
5. I've recently acquired my ideal bass so I need to make room in the rack for it. Lovely quality bass that plays really well and sounds great. HERE is a link to the original sale thread which has some information. My pics are HERE £220.00 collected from Sydenham in SE London, I've had a bit of a nightmare with couriers recently, one failed to collect and the other damaged a bass during transit so collection would be preferred but I realise this limits the market so I could supply a hard case and send via UPS at buyers additional cost.
6. It does seem rather expensive, I'm a sucker for a white bass and I like the fact the truss rod adjusts at the heal not the headstock.
7. I sold Russ my sad looking old Satellite bass, unfortunately the courier must has dropped it from a great height as it arrived with a broken bit of wood from behind the nut and a snapped truss rod He was a total gent and very understanding, a thoroughly decent bloke and BC'er. R.
8. The pedal layout is a great improvement, looks really good now. It's just personal taste I know but I'm not keen on the graphics - really sorry.
9. Thank you, that one is much easier to see, the others were a bit wee even when clicked on.
10. Could we see a bigger picture of the graphics please, hard to tell anything from the small one posted
11. Johann popped around today and bought my Medium Scale MIJ Fender Jazz Bass, probably the quickest deal ever! Lovely bloke and a top player. R.
12. David bought a Jazz Bass body off of me, quick payment and great comms - Thanks!
13. I bought a MIJ medium scale Squier Jazz Bass form Pat, great comms throughout and it's a great bass that arrived well packaged
14.
I've just picked up this very bass from Dunster in Somerset. It's in need of a neck and body refinish, all hardware needs cleaning and polishing and it needs a battery cover and pick guard. However the neck is good, the preamp is there and it all works fine. It even sounds good despite its 20 year old strings so just a fettle is all that's required. That's me off to the potting shed for a while.......
Excellent!
15. Welcome to BC!
Welcome!! Where in Scotland are you and are you in a band?
My Great Great uncle on my Grandfathers side lived in Bo'ness
16. An 'I need space in the rack' BUMP
17. I've read through this twice now and still have no idea who it is!
18. Buy a nut and strings from Ebay then keep an eye out for some cheap but functional tuners in the BC Marketplace, next step is to get practising.

Booooooom

Dave bought my Pedaltrain, fast payment and he's a pleasure to deal with.
20.
Edit: EB took over MM in 1984, so using mutes as an indication of pre-EB is wrong, basically.
That me told
21. Boomy might be an EQ issue, less bass more low mids might help. If you want to try compression may I suggest a Zoom B1on multi effects pedal, cheap as chips, has a few modelled compressors in it and you get all the other effect thrown in, a great way to try what works for you.
22. I put together a MIJ Jazz many years ago and struggled to find one of those straps, a kind soul on here sent me a small sheet of brass, it was way thinner than the standard fender stuff and easy to cut with decent scissors, it looked OK but more importantly it did the job
23. That was indeed meant to be there, I'd fashion a new one from a sheet of brass.
