I'm a big fan of SX basses having owned a few of their medium scale PJ's over the years and this short scale one is really great as well but a lack of space means something has to go. In excellent condition, it has a metallic blue finish and in the pics there are a couple of reflections that look like marks that aren't. So easy to play and in my opinion sounds surprisingly big for such a small bass, strung with d'adario nickel strings that I think were from a medium scale bass but are fine. A bit neck heavy played on the knee but liveable, much better on a strap but would maybe benefit from some lightweight tuners. Original light and flimsy gig bag included. PICS HERE £120.00 collection only from Sydenham in SE London or I could meet up at a central London station. R.

...and he can sell the hard case again afterwards if he doesn't need it.

I have a PJ set in my fretless, very nice indeed, as mentioned above there's a lot of love for their pickups on BC.

Very handy bit of kit for cooking those larger dishes or when you run out of hob space or need to cook where there aren't the facilities to do so. Bought to use at family functions back before lockdown, only used twice, no longer needed and I need to make some space. I seem to remember you do need to ride the temp control a wee bit when cooking, fine if you are setting it on the lowest setting to keep things warm. Free collected from Sydenham in SE London or i can send it via Yodel for £6.00. PICS HERE R.

I just discovered Joni Mitchell. With Jaco.
Rumple replied to bubinga5's topic in General Discussion
Shame the DVD of 'Shadows and Light' doesn't show Jaco much but it's still a great watch, along with Hejira it's one of my favourite listening pleasures. Pat Matheny's Bright Size Life LP is another good one to check out. -

More things from the parts box that will never get used. The smaller one looks more like a MM bridge and even has the pegs on the bottom that sink into the body, it does a little pitting to the chrome, no screws. The bigger one is unused, it was taken off a new bass, comes with 6 screws. £10.00 for the pair send via Yodel. R.

I've had this great guitar multi effects unit for a wee while now, I bought it new but now find myself migrating back to individual pedals. Does everything, drums, looper, tuner, tons of effects and amp sims.... Boxed, no power supply it takes the usual Boss style or batteries. £60.00 £50.00 delivered to the UK mainland via Yodel. I could do with the cash towards a camera purchase but no harm done asking me if you had something you wanted to trade. NO LONGER AVAILABLE HERE, AS NOW LISTED ON EBAY. R.

This old Selmer is the most badass bass amp

Brilliant! Mine had been dropped from a great height and the whole case had come apart, UPS paid for the repairs. -

Nice amp. I had a SUPER ZODIAC 50 for a while, it belonged to my friends Father who played organ, I would have kept it but I needed the space so sold it to a guy in France who played keyboards in a Math Rock band, DHL trashed it and he had to have it rebuilt. -

I've put my lovely NG2 up for sale.

In excellent condition, superb bass great for all types of music despite what you might think if you were to quickly look on YouTube, the Darkglass pre-amp is very good indeed, I really like the two frequencies of mid adjustment but set flat with the pickups in series is my favourite setting. Looks the business and plays like a dream, shallow neck with nice low action, took about 10 minutes to get used to the fanned frets. I bought it not that long ago on here for a never to happen recording project that would have required plenty of clear B string action. It didn't come with a Dingwall gig bag only a generic one, basic but functional, once I've retrieved it from the loft, I think there are some spare strings in the case too. Collection from Sydenham in SE London preferred, I don't have a car any more but could meet near a station not too far from London. May trade against a Fender Mustang especially a JMJ model, 4 string Precision preferably with a Rosewood board, Precision/Jazz Bass neck or as a long shot a Sony E mount full frame lens. PICS HERE R.

From a project I never fully finished after deciding to go down another route. I'm pretty sure it's a Squier Affinity body, that's what it was listed as on eBay, it's in pretty good used shape with a few nicks in the finish hear and there, the pickups are Vanson Hunbuckers that can be coil tapped if that's something you wanted to do, scratchplate came from eBay, wiring loom is a quality @KiOgon solderless VTT one with a 3 position switch. A few of things to be aware of are the bridge is screwed down so it's more like a hardtail Strat, it would probably need replacing if you want the use of a tremolo system, Something isn't right about my wiring as the volume knob only turns the sound down a little bit not off, no idea why but I'm sure it's an easy fix for someone who knows about these things. The scratchplate is secured by only a few screws, basically the ones that lined up with the holes in the body. PICS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS I'VE NOW PUT IT UP ON EBAY SANS THE PICKUPS, ELECTRONICS AND SCRATCHPLATE. R.

I had to give up brewing so this is surplus to requirements now, not had a huge lot of use. Free if you collect it from Sydenham in SE London, or I can send it via Yodel to the mainland UK if you want to pay pay for shipping.
