I've sold my amp and cab so this is no longer needed, it's only been used twice and has spent the rest of the time standing in the corner of the spare room so it's in excellent condition, I don't have the original packaging but I'll pack it in bubble wrap for delivery via courier. £32.00 collected from Sydenham in South London or £40.00 delivered by Hermes. I sold Tom my GB Streamliner 900, we met up at the J10 services on the M40 to do the deal, swift and smooth transaction and a joy to meet yet another very nice Basschatter!

YYZ the tricky first bit, does this look right?

Stumbled across the isolated bass today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPAqEQ1_ctQ -
Love the dots and binding combo on a Jazz neck, 66-tastic! Looking forward to seeing this build evolve.

I'm not really playing a lot these days and recently sold my cab so the Streamliner isn't going to get used and may as well be moved on to a new home. I believe it's was new in 2011 as that's what is written on the (included) Owners Manual, it's in excellent condition and comes with the GB soft case and a mains lead. Collection only from Sydenham in South London or I could possibly meet up at London Bridge, Charring Cross, Victoria or Bromley South. sorry I don't have any suitable packing material and very little confidence in couriers companies so to be on the safe side I'm not shipping the amp. I bought a Catalinbread SFT from Mike, very easy and fast transaction, pedal arrived well packaged - highly recommended.

I do love playing 'I Shot The Sheriff' it's one of the few non rock/indie/blues tunes I've managed to get our band to play, it seems such a simple tune on the face of it but it's one of the ones I have to concentrate most on to get the feel right. I remember Bod Marley playing across the road from where I lived in Crystal Palace Park back in the 70's, this was before there were any restrictions on volume, blimey was it loud! I think it may have partially influenced my love of bass

Nice, very neat and tidy, I like the idea of having the input/output and mains connector built in to the board.
They really should've re-branded these for the UK market!
I bought my J&D Jazz partially because the name made me laugh Not a bad bass for the money which is a bonus. -
I have one of the grey short ones on my SR5 it certainly helps reduce shoulder ache on that bass but it's quite a chunky strap compared to the Neotech one I use on another bass.

A bit more surgery has taken place over the weekend, because the body was originally meant for a 4 string a bit of extra wood was added so it could then be routed for a 5er, the neck has had a few mm shaved off of it and drilled for the bolts to fit it to the body.
If the swatch is anything to go by, a 3-ply mint/black/mint guard would be class. In my humble opinion, of course.
I have one of Howard's mint 3 ply on my Fiesta Red RW Jazz, looks very nice indeed
Loving it so far. I think I'd be tempted to leave the pickguard off:-@
Always open to suggestions I thought a cream scratchplate might set the pink off nicely and also stop it being too much PINK, I'm sure I'll see the body in the flesh or at least in pics before the plate goes on so I can decide then.
Wait, isn't that... Burgundy Mist?
I think it might be somewhere between Burgundy Mist and Shell Pink with a splash of black, I've never seen a genuine BM instrument so maybe it is! but going by the RGB breakdown of the colour on paint charts it's not the same.

Dave has filled the lugs from the original Jazz Bass pup cavities and routed new ones for the Delano's and drilled holes for the pick-up wires.

James bought a Hartke Bass Attack pedal from me, fast payment, great comms and very chilled when Hermes lied that they had delivered to him on a Sunday when they hadn't. R.
Did you have to file the nut a bit?
A tiny bit, I bought light gauge strings so a couple of passes with a file and they fit a treat it was so minimal that I think stringing it normally again in the future wouldn't be a problem at all.

I've got one that I've strung BEAD, works a treat
