1. From the Status web site: "The neck weighs just about the same as a regular maple neck"
2. IMO you would be best selling them separately, there's plenty of people on here that like buying parts for bitsa basses, you could maybe offer a slight discount to someone who bought both neck and body.
3. That's not particularly heavy, about average I'd say, I have 2 at the moment one is unusually light at 8.8lbs the other is 9.5lbs but I've had at least one in the past that was 10lbs+
4.
How does the weight of a graphite neck compare to a wooden one
I seem to remember OBBM saying in a previous thread that it's a little heavier then a standard neck.
5. I haven't had Jazz Bass GAS in a long time but this has certainly got it going again
6.
Not without cake...
Hob Nobs?
7.
Yes. We should, er, pop round for tea, or something.
How civilised
8. I've done a little EZ Drummer research and I think I'll take the plunge, one thing I've noticed is the program is reasonably priced but the additional kits are quite expensive, I guess that's how they make their money. Just noticed we are almost neighbours Zenitram!
9.
Personally, I like how one can track down previous transactions. It can be very useful.
Good for tracking the history of a bass when it's been sold or traded a few times on here.
10. Thanks Zenitram, sounds great, you've sold it to me already
11. What are the advantages of using something like Ezdrummer over drum samples loaded into a software sampler?
12.
I`m going to try and make this one. Bought a ticket last year, and very unhelpfully got another bout of rubbish tonisilitis the very week it was on So to make sure I can attend next years, I had my tonsils out
13. I do like a matching headstock, this looks lovely
14.
Bump
Just a thought, you might want to weigh the SR5 yourself as the weight given on the EBMM web site is just a ball park figure, I have or have had ones ranging from 8.8lbs up to 10.5lbs. Good luck with your sale
15.
Don from D'Addario here - unfortunately, we only make .045 - .100 in Super Long Scale Length in our Chromes line. Don Dawson Product Marketing Specialist D'Addario / Planet Waves
Always nice to see a reply from the manufacturer pop up in a thread
16. I recently sold and shipped a Stingray Classic 5 and when it arrived at the new owners house after a night in a cold warehouse the strings were apparently flat on the fingerboard so the neck had shifted quite a bit, all was fine again once it was back up to room temperature but just goes to show how far they can move.
17. Is it in the same hall as last year? it might be better to have a meeting point in the cafe area as it's quieter there? last year it was soooo loud in the main hall my ears hurt.
18. Rumple

SOLD

I've got one of these and it's great.
19.
. I got screwed over for $600 on a laptop three years ago
That's must really hurt knowing you have been intentionally conned and there's very little you can do about it, a friend of mine had a similar experience decades ago when he foolishly took a cheque for payment on a car that bounced, the guy got taken to court and charged but claimed he was unable to pay back the money and had no job so the court ordered him to pay it back at £50 a month, the cheque was for £5k! My sister lives in Christchurch and I have got her to bid on a couple of basses in the past, nothing serious just if I happened to spot something that seemed cheap and near a time I was going over or she was coming home for a visit, not looked on there in ages.
20. I might pop along on the Saturday morning for the Nate Watts performance.
21. Got a black and tort scratchplate sitting in the draw doing nothing but it's a bit much buying a bass just to fit one of them to
22.
I've seen a couple of PreEB rays go for 700 quid in NZ
Blimey, I'd have asked my sister to bid on those if I'd known, on Trade Me I assume?
