    There's a lot of metal in pick-ups they mostly weigh a ton, put a couple in a sock and you have a bar brawl weapon, I think you can get some with Neo magnets that are a lot lighter but I expect they cost a small fortune. Good luck with the refub.

    I've only ever used the aluminium one's as they are lighter, if you can live with the added weight some people say brass sounds better, I'm not convinced though.

    I have about half a dozen old 2010/2011) copies of Bass Player Magazine, and about the same of Bass Guitar Magazine plus a couple of SOS going in the recycling box soon but I thought I'd list them here just in case someone wants to collect them from me in Sydenham South London before they hit the green box.

    Just been clearing out a cupboard and found a few music DVD's that might be of interest to someone as a job lot. Siouxsie And The Banshees - Live at Shepards Bush RHCP - Off The Map Best Off Bowie 2 DVD set Foo Fighters - Everywhere But Home In good condition having only been watched once, although there are some cracks in the case of the Bowie set, discs are fine though. £14.00 posted within the UK for them all, I'd rather not split them as it means too many trips to the post office

    Hipshot Type A (sometimes called A-Style) is what you need you can pick them up on Ebay from the US, I managed not to get stung for any import duty so it was a bargain, I think Bass Direct sell them if you would rather buy from the UK.

[/quote] I don't know what the extremes are with SR5's but I have two and there is 1lb difference between them, it may not seem a huge amount but after a few hours practicing with the heavier one, I do notice it so I thought I'd ask expecially as the extra pick-up might add a little to. Stunning example.

    Mine has just arrived but it will be June 10th before I get a chance to try it out with the band in a rehearsal room.

    Unfortunately I can't make it this time as it the day before I'm due to run a charity treasure hunt, so I shall be in 'headless chicken' mode sorting the last bits of preparation out, hopefully there will be another meet up in the future on a date I can make - Have Big Fun! R.

    I've had this for well over a year and used it only twice so I think it's best it goes to someone who has a use for it. It's boxed and I'll throw in some drum sticks, oddly it doesn't come with any new I'm still looking for the original power supply but if I can't find it I will include a the generic one I used to test it. £110.00 delivered in the mainland UK It looks like this library shot.     Let me know if you ever find anything, I have a rough idea of how the verse goes but it only sounds right if I play it along with the track

    Sadly no, luckily I had an old printer cable that did the trick and saved having to buy one, although they are only a couple of quid you would have expected one to come with it.
