Bass cabs.

Hmmm, I do like a nice warm, fat, thuddy sound.
3. Been looking around for a cab to go with my Trace head and I've narrowed it to a choice of 2. The Ashdown MAG410 Deep and the Kustom DE410H. Both within my budget and was wondering which one I should go for. Any BCer's with any experience of either of these? Any help will be most appreciated. Barney.
4. Greetings! Sounds like you're living the dream!

Hi Hi!
MB1. Greetings! "Are You LOCAL?"
Hello hello, what's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here!
9. I like the P/P layout, nice and unusual, the the quad J's? No, really not!
10.
My problem is that I already have one, otherwise it would already be here. Someone is missing out on a great instrument here. Shame on us all...
I totally agree. These are lovely basses and this really should have been snapped up by now!
11. Love to but you're a bit too far away for me.
12.
I used my GK 400RB-IV with them for a few years and they coped very well, plenty of headroom. Sorry, I'd have no need for a guitar amp I'm afraid! Come on people; 2 4x10 cabs for £70! I really can't go lower than this, it's an insane price already! BUMP! Truckstop
Not to worry, thanks anyway.
13.
cool-let me know! Matt
will do! I'll keep you posted but nobody seems to want to buy the thing at the moment. God knows why, it's a really nice amp i'm selling.
14. I could be very tempted as soon as I sell this guitar amp.
15. Would they cope with a 300 watt Trace and would you be willing to trade one for a guitar amp?
16. Hello and welcome!
17. Thanks for all the tips. Just emailed the guy to tell him I'll only take cash for the amp. Be interesting to see what he says to that.
18. I'm trying to sell an amp so I put it up on Gumtree and I've been contacted by this chap and there are somethings that make me feel uneasy. Firstly every email I've had has come from a different email addy, he's asked me about things that I included on the ad (price, condition that sort of thing) so you think if he'd actually seen the ad he'd know and wouldn't need to ask. He's also said that he can only pay by Paypal even though I have said that I don't have a Paypal account and I'm not wanting to set one up if I'm theoreticaly only gonna use it once as I've coped quite well without it so far. Also he's offering well over the price I'm asking and because he's a marine engineer and has limited computer access he'll send someone to pick up the amp. What do people think, con or not?
19. Greetings!
20.
I'm gonna have to get a go on one of those. The Violins didn't tickle but your Verithin
Ah, but do you prefer the modern version or the original one?
21.
My trusty old Verithin... ...definitely 'Old School'...
Old school and a very awesome bass!
22. Didn't think we had any Hofner porn so I thought I'd start with my '63 Verithin.
23.
Will be fine, the amp will never kick out the max wattage anyway. Its better to run a higher rated amp into lower rated speakers than vice versa. An amp working too hard to power speakers (eg 150w amp powering 300w speakers) is more damaging to equipment.
I was always told that that speakers (or cabs) should be a third more powerful than the amp to avoid blowing them.
24.
1 or 2 eight ohm cabs, or 1 four ohm cab
Cheers! Was slightly confused there.
