    I've heard some bad things about this particular unit too. Although the couple of Harley Benton pedals I've got work fine, sound good and seem to be pretty solidly constructed.

    After I'd been up our local blues jam a couple of times the house bassist said I had a good groove. Also the guy that runs it has been loving my tone and fluidity.

    I use flats for everything! Just love the fat thumpy sound, find rounds to 'clanky' and tinny. I must be doing something right, my tone is always getting complimented.

    I'll let you know how it works when I try it. Although, noob question I know, not sure if I should take the batteries out or not when I use it.

    That is a sweet looking bass, got a nice old school vibe to it.

    Got a BOSS one. The very helpful guys in Jaywalk guitars said it had a better quality transformer so would be able to handle what ever I could throw at it. Was either or some cheap plasticy looking thing so I felt I should go for quality.
