1. Yes... gorgeous... enjoy! Piccy of back of headstock please.
2. The new Squiers are great, esp the CV range, if you find a nice MIM they're well worth it also. As far as modding goes, the first thing to go were the old machines. I swapped them out for a set of Wilko's as the stock ones were a tad loose (on my MIM), I also prefer the big back vintage style.
3. I disagree... I've had my Jazz for thirty three years now. It was my first fender and my first decent bass. I went through a few fashion items, SB1000, Stingray, during which time the Jazz was a case inhabitant. Now it's my main player... I can't see me ever letting it go.

Ooohh

mmm... another fancy Jazz bass copy.
5. Yes... a good jazz is all you need I reckon... now get the frets orf and drop in a J-Retro! only kidding!
6. I really don't get all the MIM bashing that goes on here or the other place. I have one and it's super.
7. Cor... gold hardware... not normally a fan but I think it'll go well with this. Get the white pearl on as well and post the piccys please.
8. Knickers! Still no mons... damn these beer prices.
9. Congrats... they really are the business and I love sonic blue. I've had severe gas for one of these for a while bit they're hard to find now and I've still no funds... oh well. They look great with some vintage machines. These on another 60s CV P...
10. Wow... talk about bling! A lot of money for what is, after all, a copy.
11. More Karn... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiE0GkVTWKo Bless you...
12. I put them on my P for the vibe... no other reason.
13. Cor!... I reckon white pearl would look lovely. Would look great with the covers but I don't think would fit over the bridge. One of the nicest Jazzes I've seen!
14. I put the tape on to stop the lacquer cracking during drilling. They look great on my Precision but the pup cover sits right over my sweet spot so I remove that for gigs these days.
15. I put some tape on before drilling... try a tort guard, tort looks great with black.
16. Yes... but for less than £500 your Squier VM Fretless can look a dream also... eh?

Supergrass

Yes... Micky's a tidy player... supported them once or twice @ The Jericho Tavern. He's got a new band or two going.
18. Can't wait to see all the mods!
19. +1 to that... I'm a Jazz bass guy so of course I'd recommend trying a Squier VMJ... the ones I've tried have been very nice. Would also make a great modding/replica project bass. I'm thinking... J-Retro, vintage tuners, tort guard, proper jazz bass knobs... a sort of monster squier copy of my own... oh well. They're great as they are.
20. Wow... sonic blue, string through, HiMass bridge, 60 notes... wonder what the pups are like?
21. I'd seriously consider the VM fretless... super bass. I play a 62 fretless jazz and have been hankering for one as a backup.
22. Tis a beauty.... fretless looks nice too... prices seem okay.
23. Great job there... looks a million.
24. Satin doll, fly me to the moon, autumn leaves, so what, dolphin dance, take five,...
25. Tis a thing of beauty...
