1. Looks great... I love the pastel colours, Sonic Blue would have been a bit more like it.
2. Yes... saw a nice shell pink hoppus modded jazz on talkbass recently... go for it!
3. Superb... they're both lookers for sure.
4. Love the matching headstock action.
5. Hmmm... looks like Teal Green Metallic?
6. Yes... if that was sonic blue I'd bloody walk there and get one!
7. I especially like... http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/shopping/goods/...1&id=159555 Around £800

9. Tell me more? You mean Fiesta red?
10.
I have a bravewood bass (fretless 62 jbass) which is the most amazing thing. Someone was asking about growly jazz basses on BC the other day. I never knew what growl was on a j bass until I played the bravewood. I think the vintage wound bareknuckles have a lot to do with it...this bass really growls...
Hey Bill... can you post a piccy of your bravewood... I have a thing about 62 Jazzers... I have one!
11. Is he the maker...? they look mass produced.
12. I would prefer one of these... http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0131800300 Don't know about UK prices though.
13. Yes... looks nice. The badass ruins the vibe for me though. Love the inlays and neck binding although I prefer dots on a Jazz. Would like to get a 60s classic one day.
14.
You have just described the finest looking neck you can get, no neck finer than maple with black blocks and binding.
I have to completely disagree with that statement.
15. I have to agree with Mel... CV Jazz is a super bass. I A/B ed one with a RW Jazz... there really wasn't much in it.
16. Well I'm more than interested... the Aero's look too cool to be true. I was thinking of a CV 60s P bass (here at £280) but I like the look of these.
17. Well... you have to go with what feels right for you, tres important, and if it saves you some monies, all well and good. They are nice.
18. Well good luck with that... I've had absolutely no interest in mine which is going for £590, may do one more price drop or just hang on to it. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...9&hl=sb1000
19. This has been going for years... I've a 62 Jazz you can have for £30,000.
20. They look gorgeous and quite well made...
21. Good point... I've played nearly a decade of functions with my SB1000 fretless... It was perfect.
22. I would recommend a Jazz bass... pref Fender or Squier CV.
23. Toothpaste.
24. I've found the bit of bent metal that fender call a bridge quite adequate...
25. Soz Karl... I wasn't paying attention.
