1. That's great! I remember in the seventies there was a brand of motorcycle helmets that had a similar design.
2. What does it weigh?
3. Cor! Cowpoke... nice. Never heard of neckdive on a pukka P bass... ever.

Bumping this again... comon folks... its a goodie!
7. That looks ver nice... I've dealt with them... good folks.
8. I've seen these before... they're pricey and look like something made by Gibson in the early eighties... yuk!
9. Yes you got to try it... I'd prefer to see the original 3 pot control layout on a 70s Jazzer... those stacked knobs would look great on my 62 though. If it plays nice and feels okay then It might be for you, a tad overpriced I'll say. I'll bet it weighs a bit too.

2002 MIM Pbass

I bought a 2002 blind off the bay... turned out to be one of my better purchases. £250... did some light modding, swapped the machines for wilkos as they were a bit loose... sounds ver nice.
12. Like this... ?
13. Yes... be careful. Relic jobs can look awful if they're overdone. I like shiny and new but some relics I've seen look very nice. Dark Horse over at talkbass does some very nice ones, might be worth checking out.
14. Go on then!
15. Yes indeedy... if it's good. I bought a 2002 off the bay for £250 and I thought that was a score. Show us some piccys when you have it.
16. http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/79196?...0o0o0o6414656o0 Although not that cheap... I'd go for the maple board option, prob fit a gold or tort guard, covers, tugbar, vintage machines.
17.
Blonde is a winner with the covers. My wonderful lady bought me mine for my 24th... The one at the top, next to a Jap Squier and a Jap 62 reissue. Never let me down, and plays like a dream. Trav
Nice peas there andy!
18. I'd consider one of the new MIM Precisions, prob with maple board option. They really are very nice. And you'll have a keeper. http://www.fender.com/uk/products/search.p...rtno=0146102332
19.
I love that bass, probably wouldn't cut it in a newwave/indie band though
Why not? Gordon used to play one.
20. Squier 60s P in sonic blue... for a replica project, Squier VM Jazz fretless as a backup.
21. Go for it! Everyone should have a P bass in their collection. Mind you I've never been a Warwick fanboy.
22. AFAIK the cv J and P have vintage spec pickguards.
23. Yes... seen that. To me the CV Jazz sounds the deal!
24. The CV 60s P is a superb bass... I've tried a couple. Both the P and J would make great replica projects... check this out on TalkBass... http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=611781 Superb!
25. heh... super. The necks on these CVs really are quality. They look it too.
