What should be in the box of a new Hartke??
Leftbass replied to Will Farnell-Smith's topic in Amps and Cabs
There's no way that Hartke would send out a photocopied manual, Larry Hartke is very proud of his products and his customer service, I imagine he would be pretty peev'd at these guys clearly selling ex-demo, refurb, or secondhand gear "as new". You could dob them into Hartke and see what happens, but I reckon that could take a while. I've had very mixed experiences with GuitarGuitar, at least in store anyway, the Epsom one is seriously awesome, but I was treated very rudely in the Edinburgh one a while back, waited over an hour, while the shop wasn't even busy, to get a trade in value on a mint Trace Elliot combo, only for it to be £200 less than the market value, and what I eventually sold it for elsewhere. I'd send it back and order one from somewhere else, I'd probably recount the experience to Hartke too, take some photos before you send it back. Best of luck mate, Eude
+1 for Larry he's very approachable thru FB or Myspace. -
I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't use pcs' much. He recently bought this but having been a Fender jazz player for so long has decided that it's not for him and wants to move it on. It's active and in pretty good nick for its age and that is the key thing it is 18 years old. Still a looker tho eh. Quite a catch I reckon. Shame it's the wrong way round for me. He's looking for £400 including a Warwick case plus delivery. I don't want to be a go between so here's his phone number, if you're interested give him a call. 01325 311590 ask for Brian. I will take replies if need be. Enjoy the pics and thanks for looking.
Bump

Bought these in October put them them in the Squier but then decided to sell that so now surplus. I paid £70 inc pp (Thomann) They're as new, no cut wires, only soldered once and no scratches. Obvious depreciation so £55 posted http://www.thomann.de/gb/emg_jhz_set.htm
