2. There are thousands of us Sutty Don't forget Arnies Leftybass site http://www.leftybass.com/e_start.htm
3. TRADED Lefty, Lefthanded Warwick Corvette, French Violet, 2004. Formerly owned by Throwoff and Leftyhook. This is a nice bass, better than a 2008 model I had but that may have been because that was passive, tho the neck is slightly thicker. Swamp ash body, Ovangkol neck with wenge fretboard Active tone control passive MEC pickups. It's had a set up and plays well and the warwick strings are fairly new. It's a fairly unique colour as far as I've seen on this forum. See pics. £400 plus £20 for a courier insured. Comes in Warwick gig bag.
4. Warwick woody Bump
5. Saturday sport Bump
6. BUMP Massive price reductioin to £275 posted. I've decided all this power is too much for my needs so I'm offering to post this inclusive in its original box. Got something else brewing so quick sale if possible. Paypal personal payment preffered or cash on collection. Stockton on Tees.
7. Is the amp still for sale?
8. Newton Aycliffe in County Durham Stu. He will post but at your expense. Give him a call this evening probably at work till 7pm
9. Bump price drop. Now £400
10. Can't believe this is still here. These are great cabs. Bump on me.
11. I'm posting this for a friend who doesn't use pcs' much. He recently bought this but having been a Fender jazz player for so long has decided that it's not for him and wants to move it on. It's active and in pretty good nick for its age and that is the key thing it is 18 years old. Still a looker tho eh. Quite a catch I reckon. Shame it's the wrong way round for me. He's looking for £400 including a Warwick case plus delivery. I don't want to be a go between so here's his phone number, if you're interested give him a call. 01325 311590 ask for Brian. I will take replies if need be. Enjoy the pics and thanks for looking. Traded locally.
12. For an amp that has a minimal amount of control knobs every one makes a difference. Add to that the Brite button which boosts the treble ( obviously) and you can get just about any sound you want. I've ran it with a 2x15 and now 2 4x10s' and I have no complaints about its versatility. I sound llike a salesman. I play mainly rock hence the need for power depending on your set up you will find this amp can give you any sound you want. Pretty much basic in terms of ins and outs but this is designed just to get you heard. If you like thunderous bass, sharp biting attack or mellow mid tones you can get it here.
13. Thanks guys. Sixdegrees is that tiny unit reliable. The demo looks very good. But how about bass?
14. Can anyone recommend a reasonably cheap tuner that has an accurate setting for 430Hz. I know Boss did the TU19 But as far as I know it's no longer produced. .
15. Problem solved guys. If you hear something rattling around inside your amp be sure to get it checked out. Unfortunately with my amp being in a rack the faint sound of a rogue screw ( which by the way did not even belong in the amp! ) moving around went undetected until it bridged between chassis and transistor. All repaired now though and ready to do some demolition work I mean play sweet music.
16. Yeah thanks Mark. My techie friend found it straight away. Looks like an output ttansistor has gone! May be more damage too. Parts on the way I'm told.
17. Cheers Dood, Bridged from the speakon socket. The cabs are rated at 1000watts
18. My Hartke LH1000 went off in rehearsal today. It didn't feel hot anywhere. Its in a 2U rack so I coudn't check it properly till I got home. After taking the lid off I couldn't find an internal fuse anywhere. This is a bit odd as its usually in line on the power input. Anyway has anyone had a similar experience with these amps? I'll be taking it to amp repair man tomorrow but thought I'd pick your brains first. Wall plug fuse okay too. I had it hooked up to an 8ohm hydrive cab
19.
Decided to move one of my Yamaha 405s' due to no longer requiring 5 strings. One of two I bought this one as a spare. ( might has well have an identical one I thought) It has spent most of the time in its case seeing as I never needed to use it. It is clear of dings and dents and has no buckle rash. Strings are as new Warwick red label 45 to 135. Great sounding passive basses that are in my opinion better than the TRB models ( I've had two of those) Comfortable to gig with, wide string spacing 18 mm centre to centre and awesome to look at. Included is a hard case and broad leather strap. £320 posted or possible trade for Mex Jazz Now on Ebay Pics...
20.
How odd, I had one I defretted and it was stolen in Liverpool in 1991. It was a nice sounding bass.
Odd indeed. Must be all that gold hardware making them susceptible.
21. Come on guys get it bought its a cracking rig!
22. Nice lookin basses. I had one of these back in the 80's but it was stolen in Bradford.
23. Anyone looking for an 810? Meet the Fender Pro 810. Purchased recently from these very pages from Nomis. Now I'll be honest this is a heavy cab! But it compensates by having a tremendous sound. Capable of 1000 watts and a peak 2000 watts this is a truly pro cab and if you have the strength and capability to move it it can be yours for the meagre sum of £275. Yeah it has a few cosmetic bumps and scrapes but that does not affect its operation and some might say adds to its character. So forget that Ampeg stuff that is unaffordable and give yourself a cheaper hernia with Fender. I've added some recessed side handles to help move it. Full spec here.
