1. Owner of a Perception Pro Deluxe 5 string (bought from a fellow BCer - thanks Barrie) and love it. Wonderful basses
2. Peavey do one where you can select the options and it creates an image of the finished result. Was this it?
3. Great idea Though as I work in Shoreham, I really should come and see you sometime
4.
Also the weekend warriors who do fine on a Squier and old Peavey TNT but who may just want to upgrade to something just a bit better. That's the readership who are not being served (by the reviews anyway).
Although the last Weekend Warrior I saw had two Alembics and a Warwick fretless 5... but I do know what you mean
5.
Gotta love them Zons though
That's how I found it - searching for Zons
6. This seems odd - someone from South Korea selling memory sticks and high end guitars and basses. With a 100% positive feedback - of 3. Would you risk it? Free postage though.
7. Thanks for all the replies - I will tell her to get used to plugging in the electric, and next time we are in Brighton might be tempted to go into GAK (if she twists my arm ).
8. One more string and I think I would have found nirvana Beautiful bass.

RIP R,5,R,5...

Was before my time on BC, but always sad to hear news like this. Condolences to his family.
10. My wife has decided that she wants to learn to play bass as she feels she is missing out on not being musical, so I have been giving her some simple lessons - she is using a Rockbass Corvette (she picked it as she liked the colour!). She is enjoying it so far, but often can't be bothered to plug it in, put on headphones, turn on the amp and so on. She has now decided that she would like to try an acoustic bass so she can just pick it up and play, but she doesn't want to spend much on it in case she decides against taking it further. When I got home today she had been searching eBay and found this Lindo. Anyone have any experience of them or have any other suggestions?
11.
Hey Barrie, Looks like a lovely bit of kit. If I can move my Epifani UL902c I may well be back for this. Bump for a great amp. And a sound bloke to deal with.
+1 for Barrie I have looked at two amps on here today. Which ones do you think they were?
12. I think you have too many - I will PM you my address to help you sort it out
13. That was close - just one letter out! For a moment I thought de-fret as opposed to re-fret.... Have a bump on a great bass anyway
14.
Thanks for that, I've just had a look to see who sells them and how much and so far found nothing. It's probably way out of my league , but no harm in asking. Anyone found anywhere that sells a range of Crafter Basses?
The distributor is here, and there is a list of dealers available from that page. If one of them is near you they should have a price.
15. It's a Crafter, though I don't know the model. Have a look at a bigger version of that pic here
16. I was going to ask where you were as there is a Gordon Smith Gypsy on ebay at the moment, but you are a little far away to go and try it

Feedback for sk8

Bought a Line6 Floor Pod from Mike - great guy to deal with
19. Excellent - I listened to some of her myspace when the ad was put up and thought it sounded interesting. Should be great!
20.
That's not exactly the one I was talking about, but very similar indeed. What a beaut! Who owns this?
Looks like the new owner didn't get a mention in the for sale thread - maybe they will put their head above the parapet now
21.
Have a listen to my Myspace stuff if you fancy.. I do folk or blues stuff most of the time. Just got my advance copy of Gina Le Faux's new album, on which I do bass duties. Chuffed to bits with the line up! Martin Simpson, Andy Cutting , Keith Angel and me, backing Gina. http://www.ginalefaux.com/ is under reconstruction at the mo, but should be back up and running soon. Played DB in a folk club one time with Gina, and at the end of the gig the organiser came along and said "wonderful sound - you don't often hear those played with a bow"
Cheers Hugh - will give it a listen. And will listen out for Gina's album as well, love Martin Simpson's stuff - must have been great working with them!
22. Well there's this one - is that it?
23.
Here we go: http://www.adamblackguitarcompany.co.uk/ar...ex-artists.html
Beat me to it, but as I edited my post it appears above yours!
24.
I rather enjoyed that - thanks for posting it!
And from the interview with her in BGM from a couple of months ago she says she uses an Adam Black acoustic bass - so it may be that. There's a thread here about them. And the Adam Black site seems to confirm it (though not that it was the one she used today ).
25. Didn't see it so don't know what it was, but is it the same one she plays in this video?
