Unfortunately I have got nowhere with this , and I don't think I will get a chance either , so for the first time in ages I am going to have to duck out on the mix challenge , good luck all .

Just about a year from the last feedback and must sadly report a lack of improvement from the previous input . I would not be interested in having dealings with Samuel again .

WE played to the bar staff and a photgrapher who wanted to do some shots , she had friends and family that wanted to come but the landlord would not allow under 16's so they all sacked it off . at 11.45 we called it a day and were packing up when 50 people walked in and wanted us to play . The landlord had booked us and took his regular clientele to the dogs in manchester !! we thought it would kick off when we refused to play any more , we got paid though .

This picture didnt suggest lyrics to me , but while having my ideas mainly set down now , I am again hoping for some Lurksalittle input . So if I persuade her I will have a vpcal of sorts , but probably just sounds rather than words

Its the 'Orange' that SWMBO thinks is cool , and with a fake speaker front to hide the rack gear , I think it might be OK aswell , a little research suggests that getting hold of the 'Orange' badges for authenticity might be a bit awkward , but a link to the tolex would be good thanks . If I find in six months time I haven't got around to pulling my finger out I might take him up on the idea

I really like those rack boxes , I have a couple myself but only worthy of garage space , but they do give me an idea. SWMBO hates the seeing the recording kit sitting on the desk/piano or anywhere really , but she does like the look of Orange kit (looks cool ) so , if I were to knock up some boxes like that and put a mock speaker grill type effect on the front , we would have plenty of rack mounted kit/storage that was 'hidden' and looked the part when not in use , Hmmm first problem ....orange tolex

We played a fundraiser last night and had a right laugh , the organisers had put on a coach to the venue so it was empty when we were setting up , but the 50 or people who came along danced, bounced and moshed the whole of both sets and 3 encores on top of the 'normal' 2 we do , the the coach turned up at 12.30 and after some great goodbyes the place was empty again , quite surreal , but a superb night , some good money raised and a few more potential gigs on the back of it.

Good pub gig last night , a reasonable crowd , but not mahoosively attended ,but out of town gigs seem to suffer a bit when the races are in town. I have a bit of back pain this morning though , I put it down to the tiny stage area we had , could only turn around between songs and had the occasional crossed necks with lead guitarist , then kept stepping back into the cymbals, I am normally fine if I can move around , but standing still knackers my back and my heels/feet for some reason. Song wise we did 3 encores and the landlord would have had us playing all night . It is the first time we have had to tell the landlord we had had enough !! but we had done 2 and half hours and the singer was beat , then at 1.15 we said our goodbyes he was getting his kareoke out and wanted us to join in . We diplomatically made our excuses and promised him we would do it after the next gig he gave us

Its not far from last orders with this months voting , there is some superb music on offer, so please dive in and pick your favourite

I dont know about the music industry and session work , but in my line of work the more a customers buys the better rate he gets , up to a point . if you have other paying work on offer it might not be approppriatte , but offer them a sliding rate so that they can see you are trying to help .
