My experience was quite similar @Leonard Smalls would you believe 😁 except we started with Mr Fogel the chalk chucker and then Crystal tips. but yes Kevin Q did like the music for his spiritual celebrations . a bit odd that music was so low in the proceedings considering the headmaster’s son was one David Balfe https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Balfe but then , he didn’t go to our school 😂😂

I've got one just about done , I would like to do some more with it , but I suspect my diary over the next week or two might get in the way , but still.. Ibby six string with a waves gtr3 stomp patch, EZ drums ,me on the mic with squaks and harp , and a nothing of bass which I hope to sort! Its a bit short, but hey, play it twice .

I suppose it’s not that odd for an Indian though , if I have a dish I will normally have a bread with it, why not slap it on top of the bread (obviously not a chicken curry though 😂 )

Ah well , it was great , plenty of good bands , a couple of duffs , but 3 brilliant shows on the day and a bit I was there 👍

After three way joint win in March and a further tie break question, here we are with the photo for April from @upside downer Took this last year when we went to Frameless, an immersive art experience, where paintings by the old masters gradually come together, enveloping you before falling away, only for another to take its place. Simple rules ✔️ Entries must be <5 minutes and recorded between now and the deadline. ✖️ No illegal samples, copyright infringements or other snide goings-on ✖️ No Bagpipes/panpipes, everyone had the chance last month's last month, so there! ✖️ No voting for your own entry. Sorry I’ve been late guys , I’m currently with grand little lurks in Alton towers. Ok , what is Grand little lurks’ favourite colour ? it’s a bit fruity ! first correct gets the picture choice 😁.

Is anyone going or playing even this weekend? there’s a bit of jazz I guess , but it’s a great long weekend of music around the pubs and clubs in the town. I’ll be on the pop on Saturday and back on Sunday to see an outfit I saw in 2019 who were just superb. anyone else ?

It was time to get serious this month , Mr Smalls has been on a roll for some time and landed himself a double bagger with the February win Fine work indeed and worthy congratulations were indeed offered, but onwards we went with no time to dawdle For this month's photo we got to delve into @Leonard Smalls holiday photo album. "This one's a pic from holiday in Mallorca. I asked for apple juice in a bar in Soller and this is what arrived!" So it's time to vote but we will go for casting 2 votes this month 1 @kwmlondon I've got the start of something that I actually quite like the sound of. Well, you didn't ask for it , but nevertheless you can have it ! I went with confusion and thus fusion , based on the fact that Lenny's holidays are often in the Alps , Austria or the like , I reckoned with the language problems , he forgot where he was. Thus knocking up a couple of loosely Spanish and German style samples and some stereotypical noises seemed a route to take , apologies. Tecnical ... well lots of random played pieces stuck together in Reaper, a castanet sample from freesound shoehorned in and a quick flight to the alps to record a traditional sound in the mountains.

I have now stitched some bits together to present , however, I intend to have a couple of home brews later on , and revisit the thing for some fun. The standards round here have been far too good for too long , this one should bring the average down a fair bit 😁

we played a pub gig many moons ago in Chester and the landlord asked if his mate Paul could join us for a song , it was Paul Reynolds from flock of seagulls , our guitarist was mightily unimpressed with the thraping his 12 string acoustic received on a loud version of Dakota 😂

I tried to learn flamenco for this one , but I have failed miserably , so it’s back to square one 😂

As we have a few tenuous connections , my self and probably 10,000 others have met Pete Waterman with his train sets , but he made me a cup of coffee 😁, now I was thinking of giving him a kiss …I would then be 1 degree of separation from kissing Kylie Also , Mrs Lurks’ mum’s best friend’s husband, was Francis Rossi’s uncle. Rossi would occasionally visit said family and everyone would wave as he drove round the housing estate in his Roller. Furthermore , Mr Rossi having a few children would often send hand-me-downs to the family who then passed them to Mrs Lurks’ mum and then to Tom, thus my stepson was once clothed in rock clobber 😁 that was an apostrophological mare!

Funny enough, our kid met Lenny Henry whilst at a hotel when having to pay visit to the toilet I had similar the other week after a gig when I was stood next to Mark Radcliffe😁 That could be a topic about who you saw in the toilet, but I reckon George Micheal would probably win.

Woah , a last minute bit of decisive voting splits the pack and brings @Leonard Smalls to the top to put him on a double. congratulations that man, top work indeed. I suspect Dad is having to edit all the other entries from his draft certificate 😁
