I only just made it by the skin of my teeth ! -
OK , I had a riff in my head and kept this very, very simple . The production glitches are still in but the inspirational Bosch Rotak 16 is calling me and as I have only cut the grass twice all year , I fear some time investment is required in that direction Lazing on a sunny half the moon

I have only got half a chance this month โน๏ธ I had two weeks off in August and came back to a stupidly full diary , and now I'm getting clicks on reaper , which is not reapers fault , but I can't get to the bottom of it , a rethink of my computing set-up is maybe on the horizon if funds become available

2 this weekend , a welcome return to the scene after our normal August break but then a further enforced rest due to the singer/rhythm guitar being in a RTA and suffering a broken shoulder, damaged ribs and lots of bruising . it appears that he has maintained enough fitness to hold his voice , but as we normally only do 1 gig a weekend, we had stipulated in advance that we would be strict on the 45min set sizes the first party on the Friday was a PTA gig, 50th anniversary for 100 peeps , lovely room , great sound but very difficult to get a rappor , as we were very late getting on due to raffles , auctions etc we played on and we were asked to let the DJ take over at 11.15 so we only played an hour . The DJ was a proper club type and it was boom boom boom boom , and loud , and loads were ready for it . the night felt a proper let down , but chatting this afternoon with the organisers , they had lots of feedback that the room was pretty much split , and that it wasn't full of Ibiza type clubbers and that plenty had really enjoyed our set . But tonight was at a garden party , early start early finish and was an absolute blast , a pleasure to play and the sort of gig you would play every day , just about everyone was dancing and singing along. 2 decent paying parties but massively different vibes.

Excellent news on a few fronts there ๐ Well done lazing on a sunny half-the-moon ๐

I think your auditory issues are what helps you tolerate my offerings ๐ I love that this monthly challenge gives me the excuse and opportunity to exorcise my random creative streak, or is that exercise my streak ๐ค I wear my heart on my sleeve, expose my hopes and fears, bare my soul for all to hear ..... it sometimes gets a laugh ....ah the tears of a clown ....or maybe just a fool who is left trying to get a Bosch Rotak 40r to the moon
-
I just loses whichever way , sometimes I think the BC voting massive just aren't ready for me just yet ๐ค

Ok Dad , that's me looking for another angle then 'Bosch Rotak 40r To The Moon' doesn't quite cut it ๐ฅ

The rules do ask that it be written/produced in the month , that's only 10 hours . It might fit the theme but how much work has been done to it ? If you have spent the last 10 hours on it , go for it and post it.

a recent trip to Edinburgh enabled me to call in here and do some extensive sampling , a thousand bagpipes and they all sounded the same ๐ซ

Decaf tea bags is mrs lurks forte , so I can concur with the Yorkshire tea decaff . Also , after poor stock planning we had to take an emergency purchase of co-op own brand decaf tea , that passed the mrs lurks taste test as well
